Faction: The Old Institution

"Humans are such weak creatures...I think we can do better than those wretched beings!"

Born from the union of a Fysaera and a DemonInk, Mara grew up in a privileged setting with her Fysaera parent. Yet, she wanted to see the world her father had come from. After much begging, he relented...and what she saw appalled her...and called out to her. The humans had taken everything away from the DemonInks yet the Old Institution strived to conquer them and rule over them. Such a thought...stirred something within her. She wasn't sure what though. Much to the Fysaera's horror, she joined the Old Institution and their bloody battle to destroy the humans. Someone as graceful and beautiful as her, why stoop so low? Yet she felt the need to dominate and conquer, and thus she stayed to fight.
