Hazel

Arcadia, the main home of the Vulzi race, is a much more cozy planet than a lot in the Vanus system, it is a bustling, earth-like planet full of towns and shops with many different morphs of fox persons that work together to prosper.

Hazel grew up in one of these pleasant towns and had always been a shy little creature, often not using words to point out things she'd want to friends and family and disappearing as quickly as she appeared whenever visitors came around. Her quiet observations led her to learn skills quickly, and picking up skills in her family's fragrance shop was no different. Her sensitivity to smells came in handy as she quickly learned how to make fragrant oils, incenses, soaps and particularly enjoyed crafting candles as she grew more familiar with the many crafts her family offered.

Though she enjoyed candle-making, her true passion started forming with the music she listened to. Ideas of becoming a traveling singer became overwhelming and she would catch herself singing along with lyrics and making more and more time to practice song, though her nerves made it difficult to do so out of her personal workspace when others were watching. She tried several times for her friends and family but would always clam up and decide against it at the last minute. She eventually chalked her issues up to worrying about what people she knew thought of her and decided it would perhaps be best to try with strangers... So in a burst of motivation made her way to a nearby off-planet venue to perform... But circumstances were less than fortunate as her courage became short-lived when she was captured by pirates to be kept as a cute pet before she could even make her debut.

She quickly found out she was now the property of Dominique Bach-Heyesion and he was allowed to do with her as he pleased. Though despite his truly terrifying form and demeanor, (and her expecting the worst of her situation based off the actions and words of other crew members) found that while displays of dominance and reminders of her place there were common, he never truly did anything unbecoming to her. In fact she felt quite well cared for and protected around him and though she would want to return home, she also found thoughts of leaving him alone (even if that were an option) left her feeling guilty and wanting.
