A curse, a sign, something I was born with and has encircled my throat as I scream without a voice. I don't know what this curse is, or what it entails, but I am silent as I look at the cherry blossoms that make up me. Beautiful blue flowers, unnatural, yes, but it's so nice to look at and makes me feel warm. I compensate for my weakness with magic, creating runes and moving things around with a mere flick of my hand with ease. A gift, a curse, and yet I am mute. How I long for a voice, to sing out for once like the people around me would sing their happiness and love. What a wonderful thing, to talk, to sing... I want nothing more than to break this curse and sing with all my heart.
