Killstar is irrevent, mischievous, and loves to have a good time. Sometimes she can have a bit of a mean streak--what with being a demon and all. However, her pranks and tricks ultimately do little harm--not because she is incapable, but because she has no desire to cause true suffering. Killstar is many things, but boring is not one of them! Killstar has been in existence for a very long time, having been brought into existence by the forces of evil to spread mischief throughout the world. She has traveled the mortal world for centuries, wreaking all sorts of havoc, but has recently decided that she likes the city of Des Moines. Fortunately, she has found a new cadre of friends at the mansion she is staying in there as well!
Kassir is the owner of the mansion where Killstar has come to settle. His creepiness is offset by by his charm, and he is always cracking jokes and schmoozing with his residents. Although he is head over heels in love with Killstar, Killstar prefers to keep Kassir guessing. However, she does have to admit that she is very fond of him.
Nikki is one of Killstar's fellow residents at Kassir's mansion. She came there after unexpectedly finding herself deceased one day, and although Killstar is usually not terribly sympathetic to others, she found herself experiencing sentiment for Nikki as a result of her plight. Killstar thus has taken on the role of educator to Nikki, helping her to learn all about the afterlife. Nikki is glad to have Killstar's help, and views her as being like an older sister.
Jack also lives at the mansion where Killstar lives. He is a trickster spirit, and thus his love of mischief jibes with that of Killstar. She gets a kick out of Jack, always trading jokes with him. Jack also greatly enjoys spending time with Killstar, and may even be developing a crush...
