Dagren ($35)

Dagren, once a normal mountain wolf, was the weakest of his pack. He was born ill, weak and forgotten by the ones he called family. his saving grace was a she-wolf that kept him in her den, sealed away from the rest of the world. She nursed him back to health, despite his weakness he wanted to see the world outside and one day, when his caretaker wasn't looking, he did. 

Dagren was caught almost instantly, and after watching his caretaker killed before him he was banished from the pack. Alone and young, barely a year old, he was forced to survive the harsh winters on the mountains. However, this story doesn't have a happy ending. As death clutched him in its grip, a draconic creature took pitty on him and fell from the heavens to save him. 

It granted him life, but only a small fraction of it. He would forever be cold to the touch, a walking reminder of what death could be. His eyes were ice, windows to the bitter cold he fell victim to. With this life, Dragen believed himself godly. He had beaten death, and demanded the creature that saved him to give him more power. "I wish to fly beside you! I wish to conquer the skies and rule over others from above them!"

Outraged, the creature decided that he best way to deal with him would be to grant his wish. They gave him wings, but each time they appeared they ripped from his sides and exposed his cold nature, the blue of his muscles a reminder to everyone that he was cursed. The wings themselves would not carry him, only a reminder through pain and tattered hide that he was greedy.

To the naked eye, his wings are invisible unless he decides to expose them, but it gives him great pain and reveals that he is partially dead. His blue muscles, covered in ice with blood that literally runs cold.
