Profile

APPEARANCE:
Kaleva takes after the succulent echeveria, or ‘black prince.’ His skin is nearly black with blue-green highlights, and has a smooth, almost rubbery texture.

Kaleva’s fronds (hair) are of a shorter length, leafy and stylishly messy, with some petals falling down to frame his face while others stick up toward the back of his head.

His eyes, while mostly hidden by his blindfold, are a beautiful shade of electric teal with black sclera. The iris blends messily in with the sclera, seeming to almost bleed into it.

Kaleva’s bioluminescence is the same electric teal as his eyes, lighting up the tips of his fronds and some dappling along the leaves, and tracing the musculature of his body.

A number of scars can be found on Kaleva’s body. The only one of particular note is on the right (viewer's left) side of his face, running from his temple down to mid-cheek (visual). His tongue, for some reason, has a single bioluminescent spot on it that almost looks like a tongue piercing - but few people see or notice it. He also wears a silver nose ring on his left (viewer's right) nostril (visual).

PERSONALITY:
Kaleva’s personality is jaded to the extreme and highly fatalistic. He considers his days numbered, and only sheer stubbornness keeps him from giving up after the cards he’s been dealt. He holds a hatred for the entire world and the torments he endured, and lives solely for Nightmare, to give back every inch of trauma that was inflicted on him and then some. He keeps to his own company as much as he can, and is loathe to form friendships or relationships. That said, he's formed an unusually close bond with Skena, finding uncanny kinship with her as two sides of the same coin.
