I'm having trouble with the playlist thing, I wanted to update it and it was fine the first time but I forgot how I did it, it takes you to the youtube video when you hit play, how do I make it play on my profile? I need help lol

Okay, so to my knowledge I've never personally had it play on-page like you're describing, so major props for figuring out how to do that the first time?? JGLHFDS

Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure how to set that up on my own...so I went ahead and updated the code itself with some minor fixes + a new playlist snippet that SHOULD allow for direct audio, with a little extra effort. If all you want is the newer playlist snippet and you DONT want the updated code in its entirety, just copy from <song 1> to the end of <song 5>!

Link to the updated code is here.

It changes the look of the playlist quite a bit, but unfortunately I'm not sure of a way to keep it looking the same while keeping the on-page functionality. I'm still a major baby with coding (and I'm currently working on finals) so I think this is about as much as I can do for ya right now ;w;/ Hopefully it works for you! Good luck!!

Omg I'm a master coder lmao, tysm for the updated code, I'll try it out a little later!

Also just out of curiosity to see if i'm doing it right, do I copy a youtube link and paste it in this case where the little "#" is or the "LINK" part? I really wish I saved the code before I updated it now I really want to know what garbage I did to it that would make it work like that, It was probably another codes music player instructions tbh idk how to code at all.

I forgot to mention the updated code has a link in the top to a guide on how to use the audio snippet, so sorry! The link to that is here, But as I understand it, this code works a little differently in that you'd have to download whatever audio you wanna play (I'd use something like youtubetomp3 or something adjacent lmao) and then you'd upload it to a private discord server or google drive, take the DIRECT audio link, and place it where the highlighted # is in this part of the code.

The way this code snippet works is that it utilizes a DIRECT audio link to play the audio instead of relying on a youtube video player to do it. I'm not sure what would happen if you tried using a youtube link, though? 🤔 I'm sorry it's such a chore to fix this to do what you want it to gnsdkfjh Codes are touch and go sometimes, and mine aren't especially optimized since I made them when I had JUST learned the basics of coding in general lmao

is there any other way I could get the code? the link is blocked on my end :'u

Hmm....I don't know why that would be! In any case, I pasted it into a google doc here, as I'm not really aware of any better alternatives ;w;/ I hope that works!
