Personality

Cinnamon is definitely a reserved and quiet bird after all she's been through. No one would know, nowadays, that she was once eccentric, excited, and hopeful. But that has all come to a crushing end, and she's been a bit down on herself... at least, when she had first arrived. She is getting a bit better when it comes to wandering out of her shell, but she's still a bit cautious of, both, people and birds.

But that old personality is coming out, slowly yet surely. Especially now that she is blessed to be back in show business again. After all, it was always her dream, to be famous among the human folk. When she's showing off for all the people, and they all cheer, she can't help but puff out that chest of hers, basking in the applauds.

She seems to be only comfortable with Ramses at the moment, much to the dislike of Arelli, who seems to find Cinnamon as competition rather than a friend. The two rarely brawl, but Arelli seems to try to act tough around the performer. In most ways, Cinnamon could honestly care less. Otherwise, Cinnamon also seems to avoid the male birds.

History

Cinnamon was born into captivity, to a breeder that specifically bred birds to be performance birds. From a young age, Cinnamon was taught how to show off and be a star. She was ultimately purchased by a traveling circus that was trying to pick themselves up off their feet. They were relatively new, after all, and they needed something to spice up the circus. So, they decided to try and implement an island parrot eagle sort of event.

She was initially taught to fly about the circus tent, gently poking the patrons heads and showing off how such a large bird could be gentle, and even playful. She was, later, trained to sky dive from a tall place, almost plummeting into the ground below before maneuvering her wings so she would quickly flip back up. She did this for a couple years, enjoying it for a time... before the crowds grew angry and bored of the, seemingly, same routine. They started throwing things at her. Tomatoes at, both, her and her owners. It was then that the circus shut down and she was ultimately sold to a different owner.

This owner didn't quite know how to care for an eagle such as this, so she was ultimately sold again, this time to Keystone Park. Upon learning that she was once a performance bird, the park jumped all over the idea of having an educational showing that this bird could easily participate in. And that's how the showings started.

Since then, she's been participating in them. She's the only bird that can do so at the moment, but Ramses is slowly teaching the others as well. Course, Cinnamon doesn't have to do as much as she once did in the circus, but she does enjoy being in the spotlight once again. And the best part is, no one can throw tomatoes here!
