So he can find ways to make them rot and charge people thousands in dental work.

Dan wasn't always so bitter and angry. Once, he was a kind man. One of the angels that had left Heaven to look after people, he found their smiles to be the most endearing and encouraged people to show them more often. But teeth were something that needed constant attention! He emphasized that! But very few listened, and more and more teeth rot away.
He grew tired of constantly reminding everyone to take care of themselves. And instead he grew bitter. They didn't want to do any work? Fine. But he'll milk them for all they're worth.
His goals now focused solely on taking all their money, he was promptly stripped of his angel status and demoted to fallen angel. In the meantime, he would experiment with teeth and would find new and powerful ways for them to rot and decay - whatever it took to rack up the bill.

Notes: I'm always fascinated in twists on fairy tales. I've spent a LOT of time thinking about how the tooth fairy would work. There's a lot of horror versions of her, there's even a version where she's Dwayne Johnson. What else could I possibly do? And as I stared at my bill from the dentist I knew.

Personality: Dan is very suave, if not mysterious. He's the kind your mom loves talking to during your appointments, and he's always ready to flash that gleaming smile while sweet talking her into the most expensive braces he has. He has a soothing, calm demeanor... but you can't help but feel something... sinister from his gaze.
He's really intrigued by your teeth. And he gets very upset if you don't floss.
Half of the time Dan is being kind it's to get to your teeth. If he can't get them in natural ways he'll turn into a gremlin and constantly bug you until you give up. Be warned, he's persistent.

Non-Human Abilities:
- Bright Smile - Though most of his angelic powers are gone there is still a sliver remaining, and it gives him the ability to restore someone's mouth, no matter how bad the damage. He only uses this for those he deem are special.
- Overbite - It's possible for him to control the teeth he's taken and have them form a giant mouth. A bite is sure to do massive damage, though the teeth can be broken!
- Wings - Large black, feathered wings with golden tips. He can hide them from everyone's eyes. They no longer are capable of flight due to losing his powers.

Voice: Deep and rich; Ray Chase

Drawing Details: Dan is typically seen in his work clothes: his blue shirt, white coat, black slacks, and beige shoes. On his coat is a tooth pin and a smiley face pin. He sometimes has a mask over his mouth with a smile design on it.
In his outside attire he replaces his coat and shirt with a brown sweater.
Biggest details are his eyes with their different colors, and his facial hair.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- He has an imp that works for him that's disguised as his daughter.

- Originally, it was because of the sight of his wings that the story of the Tooth Fairy came to be known. Eye witness accounts gradually got distorted and eventually feathered wings turned into fairy ones.

- Now the Tooth Fairy stories are more due to his "daughter", who is the one that goes to get the teeth for him. She definitely fits the picture more.

- He prefers children's teeth for his experiments since kids no longer need that. And adults are willing to pay much more.

- Likes watching ABC Family.

- Brushes 6 times a day. At the LEAST.

- Has a nice glass of mouthwash now and then.

- He'll watch you while you eat so he can see your teeth.

- He WILL strangle you with floss if you keep neglecting to floss daily.

- He removes the smiley face pin when he's upset.

- His gremlin side is almost on par with a tsundere.
