- The "Strawberry" nickname was given to him by Noah— it's because he blushes very easily. Lol.

- His field of research specializes in lost civilizations! Kaito's job is usually to go to secured sites of ruins and try to non-invasively determine their history with a small team.

- Kaito has moles! They get darker in the summer, when he tans.
- His eyes are naturally a sea-blue, but he usually wears brown coloured contacts. When he isn't wearing the contacts, he needs to wear glasses for reading. Farsighted gang...?
- He cuts his own hair for ease. It's a bit choppy because of this, but it's wavy enough to cover small issues.
- Speaking of his hair, its colour tends to change between seasons, going from a yellow-brown in the winter to bright-white-blonde in the summer.
- There's usually reminders and doodles scribbled over his arms, to the point where most of his clothes have faint ink stains.
- He always wears four bracelets- three braided friendship ones in red, purple and pink, and then a beaded seashell one. They're all very important to him..
- He's 5'7 and a half! Please let me have remembered that right.

His sister!! The light of his world. He would do anything to make sure she grows up happy. With some work and connection making, they've been able to get her into a fashion college on a scholarship. Kaito praises her to high heaven if asked about her, which embarrasses her deeply.
YUI Hoshino

While she's not a perfect mother, she did try her best for as long as she could. Kaito... feels sad for her very often, and resents her at other times, and loves her regardless. She put up with a lot with Kevin, and when he left, her mental and physical state had long since been spiralling. Currently, she's in the long-term care section of the hospital. Kaito visits her a lot.

By and far the last person that deserves to be a parent. Kaito's long since distanced himself from him, even going so far as to change his last name to his mother's maiden name. An abuser and a cop who up and left his wife and kids one night after emptying their bank account. Kaito has no idea where the man currently is, and would admittedly really like for it to stay that way.

His best friend and in some timelines, boyfriend. Noah's usually someone Kaito meets at college, and someone he very rapidly develops a puppy crush on. The two of them together tend to get into ridiculous situation after situation by simply enabling the other. They care for each other a lot, alongside the teasing and competitiveness that drives their relationship.

His other best friend and in some timelines, partner! Often alongside Noah. Taiki's usually someone he meets at Noah's family flower store, as the guy works there, or just through Noah. Despite their external demeanors being easy opposites, the two hit it off pretty fast, with Kaito chatting to Taiki over text about cats and Taiki responding in kind. It wasn't difficult for Kaito to fall in love with Taiki either— he just liked spending that time with him, yano? Taiki, out of the three, is usually the responsable one that makes sure they don't all end up in a ditch.

His god and best friend and ... well, something else, maybe, but there's no good word to describe it. If you asked Kaito, he'd likely end up on "soulmate", in a sense. Chylvain, as Kaito calls him, was one of the last gods remaining from his pantheon when Kaito was put onto researching the ruins of his old town. Through research, prayers, and simple conversations, the two ended up growing incredibly close, to the point where Kaito finds it hard to imagine a life without Chylvain in it, now.
