Serah is a secondary character of Le Club des Treize. She is an high school student from the Lycée Steve Kadmon, and a member of a militant atheist group which only has three members: the Atheistic Trinity. Indeed, even if her overall personality is warm and caring, she knows when and how to fight for her ideas.
The Atheistic Trinity (also called "The Atheist Angels" by outsiders because of the winged sweaters of its members) is a secret group founded by Bobby and his friends, Serah and Arthur. Even if Bobby is its official leader, he often prefers to let Serah promote the group because of her more social and happy-go-lucky personality. The Atheistic Trinity do not only discuss and fight for acknowledgement and acceptance of atheist youth in their society; they also are generally opposed to discrimination and disdain towards minors, which make them allies to Jesus' Thirteen Club, who also try to rebel against adults.
Serah likes to do magic tricks; she often performs at kids' birthdays for money, and that's how she met the members of the Thirteen Club. Indeed, her childhood dream was always to become a professional magician. She is also a fan of optical illusions, impossible figures and enigma riddles. Spending time with a book of puzzles and enigmas is her genuine definition of fun; unfortunately, her friends don't seem to agree... In addition, Serah likes pineapple on her pizza, which Bobby finds utterly disgusting.
According to her, most organized religions are a threat to the LGBT+ community, and that's why, as a trans girl, she decided to join the Atheistic Trinity. She is really involved in the group and wishes it could appeal to more people.
At school, Serah has chosen to study English and Spanish as foreign languages. She also tends to prefer science to literature.
Trivia
- This character is based on the Invisible Pink Unicorn, the deity of a parody religion created by the trans software developer and former podcaster Serah Eley.
- Serah indeed wears mainly pink and transparent clothes to symbolize the belief that the Invisible Pink Unicorn is both pink and invisible at the same time.
Design notes
- Serah is smaller than Bobby and taller than Arthur. Similary to her friends, she wears an oversized winged hoodie. The symbol on it is an impossible cube. The two things attached to the hoodie look like eyeballs with a pink iris.
- Her bows, skirt and boots are transparent. She has a long braid behind her back.
