-Matilda is a present-day witch, fully enveloping herself within its aesthetics and practices.

-Matilda acts as and fully believes that she is Charlotte's true successor, despite the fact that she was never appointed to do so. She too creates a demon-worshipping group, but instead of being against Cainism, her rebellion is against the ever-growing new religion of Reverentiality. However, her group functions much more like a cult, as she and her followers only worship one demon: Cresil.

-Utilizing the incantations that Charlotte had developed with the help of James, along with some of her own, Matilda was able to summon Cresil to the mortal world.
