Tsuki Matsudo

Bio

Humble and docile, Tsukiko Matsudo is the friend everyone wants to protect, the daughter everyone wants to have, and the girlfriend anyone would adore… on stage. Jiyukoku’s darling is a little less delicate than she’d like her fans to believe. Over the years, she’s gained a sense for how her record company operates and uses it to her advantage. She annoys her managers to no end, barging into company meetings whether they want her there or not, not that they can do much about it. She does currently hold the record for most consecutive hit singles, after all. Her nice side isn’t all for show, however, as she loves her friends dearly and will use any means she has to ensure their protection. It’s why she does what she does.

Personality

A friend of Tsuki’s should expect no shortage of affection, praise, and being called ‘darling.’ She admires others’ strengths and seeks to shine a light on them. Truthfully, she isn’t entirely sure how she’s been able to top the charts for as long as she has, but if it helps her help others, she’ll keep doing whatever it is to stay in place. She tries to carry herself in a sophisticated, elegant way, but it borders on being over-the-top and dramatic. Because of this, her close friends sometimes call her Tsukiko-hime. Tsuki is a self-admitted crybaby, but she doesn’t always cry at the things one would normally expect. Joy can ring her to tears as much as sadness can.

Backstory

As the daughter of two lawyers, Tsuki came from a wealthy household. Her mothers were often but busy, and during times when they knew they couldn’t be there to take care of her, she would visit her father, a tailor. She was spoiled with love no matter which house she stayed at, and overall, had a happy childhood.Her life changed drastically after one fateful talent show, and next thing she knew, she was famous!

Relationships

Higgy - "I guess that guy really is coming around." Higgy doesn't know this, but Tsuki used to really not like him. He was just so rude and once made a snide remark about her and a couple others when he thought she couldn't hear it. She had to be physically restrained from verbally tearing him to shreds. When she heard he was in the same band as poor sweet Toni, she was ready to fight if Higgy made him even look like he was going to cry. But according to Toni, he's completely different now. Tsuki's gradually warming up to him, after all, she figures it's better to build bridges than burn them. She still has a watchful eye on him, though.

Nicky - "He's a nice, friendly guy." Nicky joins Tsuki in her impromptu duets. She thinks he's a nice guy. She's not romantically interested in Nicky, but she felt like a logical business decision would've been to pair her and Nicky together instead of banning him from romance altogether. She thinks they probably would've been able to maintain a good on-camera chemistry.

Maxy - "He's very helpful!" Maxy is usually around when Tsuki needs a favor done, and he doesn't seem to mind. Despite what Toni says about him, Maxy seems like a nice guy. Whether he'll admit it or not, he seems to enjoy taking care of her cat Emi. Sometimes she brings her in just so Maxy can get to play with her. 

Toni - "Oh, Toni's such a darling, he is!" Tsuki thinks of Toni as a little brother and showers him with love and affection. When Maxy introduced the two, she immediately took the shy, freckled boy under her wing. She won't hesitate to offer him guidance or dry his tears. The fact that he tries to do the same for her touches her heart. If something bad happens to him, she will hurt someone.

Kenji - "He's an intriguing man, and Toni's lucky to have him as a teacher." Tsuki thinks Kenji has a reallly cool demeanor. She's almost jealous that Toni and the others get to spend so much time around him. He's so calm and collected, and according to Toni, really caring too. She tries to hold a conversation with him sometimes, but he's a busy man.

Benji - "I respect his business" Tsuki's interested in how Benji manages all of his idols, especially how he never seems to give up on any of them. She doesn't understand some of his choices, though.
