Xin

Xin is aware of how people around him try to manipulate him and use his prince status, but only a few such as Zixin and his mother Cixi do not, and thus grows large distrust for those around him. Never really finding a 'true' friend. 

 He only appears in the Rebirth storyline of the Atedarian Saga series. (Information is omitted so no spoilers)

Rebirth Storyline

He is a prince of the Agana Kingdom, son of Cixi.

Xin feels trapped inside the castle and like any kid his age would like to go outside and play. However isn't allowed to leave the castle walls, being forced to train with Zixin as his teacher. He doesn't understand why his teacher is rather harsh on him and his training until he meets Miyu who returns to the Agana Kingdom. Miyu becomes his older sister like playmate, and reveals that those who care for him wish him to be strong enough to stand alone as he will become the pillar of the kingdom some day, and until then he won't be able to go outside alone. Thus he promises her that he'll grow strong to go outside by himself, taking training seriously at that point.
