Information about Scatales

Introduction

Scatales, also known as ”scattered tales”, is a collective term for multiple races. There are many races, each residing on their respective floating island within the Scatales spiral island network. The world is flat, and all islands orbit around a star called Aster. The islands are not connected, and there is no sea but a pitch dark fog beneath all the islands.

General information

A long time ago, the islands of Scatales were actually one before it was broken into many islands, hence they share the same ancestors. Scatales are also free to travel amongst islands, if they have the means to do so. Combining both factors, some Scatales might inherit traits of another race, having a mixture of multiple race traits or, in rare cases, mutation of traits.

Races

Ursa

Lush green and plentiful, the homeland of the Ursa is called Sylva. They are akin to forest sentinels, and take care of the diverse nature of Sylva. The Ursa have two different practice: the way of Rusa and the way of Asur. Rusa teaches to care and nurture plants greatly while Asur teaches to uphold duty in protecting creatures. Ursa naturally love nature, so this is just a minor difference between them.
