Gelea is a noble from Orun, and one of the two main protagonists of Sword Kid. They are the first ally that Gladius encountered on his journey, and is the one that he relies on the most. They are also the one who is said to be blessed with power by the gods, and is willing to fight for what’s right.

Personality

Gelea is the most lighthearted out of the team. They are known to be outgoing and brave, and is quite an adventurous fellow. On the other hand, they are known to get serious, and when trouble comes, they have to get themselves prepared for it.

Gelea and Gladius share a unique bond with each other, and because Gelea was the first person to wield him many years after the sealing of the GOD OF URD, they always rely on Gladius' safety. Gelea has the ability to either make the legendary sword their walking companion, or their weapon while in battle.

Lastly, they always wanted to spar with the ghost swordsman Vetitum someday to see if they are really worthy of being a warrior.

Background

Gelea first started out life as a warrior when they attended an academy dedicated to swordsmanship and fighting. While in the midst of a spar with another person, an unnamed prince was walking around the sparring arena, to find someone to spar with. This was when they first met that prince. After winning the spar, they later walked towards that prince, and asked if they could have a friendly spar with him to see who's strongest. As the two briefly sparred, the nameless prince became victorious, but this made Gelea surprised as to what they have witnessed. Shortly thereafter, they asked the prince if the wanted to become friends, which is what he accepted, and this led to the two befriending each other.

At one point, their unnamed friend had mysteriously vanished from Urd, which Gelea was aware of, but they are also worried if he would ever be safe. On the other hand, they've also have been dreaming about wielding the legendary sword Gladius, which led to them waking up all of a sudden in the middle of a night.

It's been two years since they have last seen the prince, and Gelea, while they were aware that he returned to Urd safe and sound, hasn't heard of him for a long time. They later ventured off to find the legendary sword that was in their dreams.

Design Notes

• Gelea has Fire Emblem-inspired design elements, but is not an Fire Emblem fan character in any way.
• Their hair and eyes are actually the same colour, it's just that the eyes are slightly darker.
• The cape, pauldrons, chestplate, and tiara are optional.
• The gloves and the wristpad on their left hand are also optional, but I prefer if you kept the gloves on though.
• Their hair is short and fluffy.
• I have updated their design recently. Please do not slim them down.
