Karuishi

The father of Kazangan.  As a glassworking artisan, Karuishi had a creative spark that helped him achieve a fair amount of fame in the world - traveling often to other clans and cities for artistic projects and invitations.  Having come from a large, branching family in a very social clan, Karuishi was already the father of four other sons before he was selected to be a sire for the Hybrid project.  He was sent on an extended leave to court and mate an affluent Domestic in the Crescent city, though he returned to his career a few years later, and visited her often.

Karuishi raised his new crossbreed son alongside his older half-brothers, teaching him the trade and training him to use his fire-weilding implants.  Although he liked to bring Kazangan along on trips, he often had to hide his heratige and deny any family relation as his son grew older, and his avian traits became more apparent.
