Lugh | Forest Warden, God of Nature

(LĂș)

Lugh oversees nature, forests, natural creatures, and hunting. He is the god of the natural balance and is especially popular with elves and beastkin, but has very few human followers.

Lugh almost exclusively takes the form of a solid white buck with seven tines on each antler. He has either black or glowing, unearthly teal eyes. On rare occasion, he will also take the form of a centaur with a lower half like that of a deer, rather than a horse.

Follower's of Lugh believe in maintaining a closeness with nature, and will often live outside of city limits. His houses of worship are generally in remote locations, or centered around groves or cairns where natural magic is strong. Estranged by their own industrialization and abuse of nature, the human populous has grown to see his followers as witches and pariahs, and many are not taken seriously.

Lugh's symbol is the seven-point Stag, but he is also associated with the symbols of the spear, as well as boughs of pine, white flowers, and climbing ivy.

Notes
  • Reared, seven-point white stag (vigilant?)
  • Elements of twined ivy or pine boughs, whichever looks best/is most fun! both is ok too, this one is super flexible besides the buck.
