Poniros's Links
Poniros reveres Kimos with high respect, even if he is treated as no more than a pet and guard at the temples of the deity. Because the God of Mischief has breathed life back into him and his people, Poniros has decreed that Kimos is the prime deity of all Xuilings and thus most Xuilings that follows a religious sect tend to worship Kimos. But there are a few that worship other deities since Poniros is not so strict, so long as his subjects give thanks to Kimos for bringing them back into existence.
Kimos sees Poniros as his loyal guard and pet. As the deity who brought the Xuilings back from extinction and breathed life once again into Poniros, the Xuiking does not take offense to being treated as a pet. They have developed a bond thanks to this and Kimos holds great respect for his Xuiling, even if he sometimes babies or teases him.
Poniros knows of dragon companions as they are common among his people, especially among travelers. He does not view them as harmful or dangerous if kept under control and knows them as his people's defenders. While he does not have one of his own, he feels they are of great importance to xuiling society as they are very powerful allies. He has never come in contact with Kohaku and probably never will.
Kohaku understands the significance of Poniros as the king of the xuilings, however because the beast is not his pact partner he will never be able to fully trust him. It is considered common for a dragon companion to lash out against anything that is not it's master because they are considerably protective, but should they ever attack the king of xuilings it is considered a grave dishonor which may result in the banishment of the xuiling who is their master. It is viewed as a lack of control over their companion. Kohaku has never came into the presence of Poniros and probably never will.
