Kath's Links
Oh, the demon hunter? Her brother's work partner - of a sorts anyway - yeah, they've always gotten on well! Albeit Kath can't say they really... KNOW the kitsune all that well. Still, they're definitely friendly - and Alex really helps to keet Kieran in line. Kath often worries he might push himself a little far and get himself hurt... as such, it's nice to have someone of Alex' caliber around to protect him.
Kath would also have to admit to being kind of... intrigued by the fox. They have an aura of mystique about them - plus a level of showmanship - that can't help but grab at the canine's curiosity.
Oooh WOW Kieran's sister is a big lass. Like, in the past Alex referred to Kier as 'big dog' as a sorta li'l nickname. Kath though? Kath IS a big dog. Alex... kinda admires that in a way - you've gotta respect anyone who can put in that much effort. It's kinda attractive in a way - not that Alex would feel comfortable trying anything with any relation of Kieran's.
Besides which, she doesn't really know Kath... all that well? They've met in passing, usually when the canine's popped by to see her brother, and they've gotten on well on those occasions. Still, never really spoken all that much one-on-one.
Oh, right, Lydia's boss? Well, other boss - Lydia has had a lot of jobs in hindsight. Still, everything she's seen of the guy has given the impression that he's a decent enough fellow. He even turned up to a few of the wrestling shows to show some support - as far as she can tell, he seems rather protective of their mutual friend.
Still, Kath can't help but feel... at least a LITTLE uncomfortable around the guy. More than likely it's just the sort of business he runs - which honestly, shouldn't bother her that much. Still, the back of her mind does sometimes beg the question of the sort of influence he might be.
The 'blushing beast' as Suave has thusly nicknamed her. She's been in the club a few times, but certainly hasn't ever spent long there. More often than not it's been to see or speak to Lydia... though the polar bear swears he's seen her in there at other points. Usually not for long admittedly - the poor girl seems to embarass rather easily.
It's funny then to compare her to the 'Barbarian King' he's seen a few times in the ring. It takes a lot of Suave's energy to not want to step in to protect Lydia from the canine's vicious hands. He just has to remind himself that despite the vicious showmanship... she's actually quite the meek-mannered being.
Oh - er - Melody right? Patient who came in when she was like, working out on the lawns of the Hospital? Wanted some of a 'private scan', had all the piercings and such - like, all over. She was, uh, something of a unique case. Whilst there was definitely something, uh, 'wrong' with their health, it was kind of hard to define what.
Either way, they seemed friendly enough. Something of a dry positivity to them, made for good conversation. Kath unfortunately hasn't really heard from them since... She hopes they're okay either way.
A nurse right. A nurse that took a look at their well being when Temporal first started rearing their head. While no results were really found at that time. She did appreciate the help of Kath despite her own vagueness about it. The memory of her is so vague otherwise but Mel can very well remember that she was massive and muscles. Maybe one day she should search her out again.
Aaand then there's this asshole. They seemed to get on... relatively well at first? He seemed friendly enough, they shared a mutual appreciation for getting into shape, and he seemed... y'know, up for a laugh and all that? Plus didn't take offense at the whole suggestion of signing up at P.A.D.C.U or anything like that.
Buuut then he made the mention of all the killings. Aaand the not really caring much about the killings. Just the... general complete indifference to all the lives he's ended, the remorselessness when talking about the inevitability of death.
Well, there's not much she can do about him... apart from step in and prevent him from getting his kicks where she can manage. She's sure the moment he stops having fun he'd perhaps acknowledge there are some things he cares about more than he'd care to admit.
See, there's this issue with the general populace. And it's that they think they're bigger than what they are. They think they're more than just specks of dust, or more than just an insignificant insect at the bottom of the food chain. It's this way of thinking that perhaps, to someone who wasn't him, would make them seem dangerous and unstable. In some regards, they're right. But in others, they're wrong since the populace are utter pushovers who fall dead over the silliest, most hilarious reasons.
He kinda likes Kath, but likes in the sort of way that you like filling cooking ingredients to the exact amount, or taking the first sip of a beverage when you're thirsty. It's less a genuine likeness, and more that he finds it extremely satisfying in a 'huh' kind of way. He loves watching her, and others, think they're worth something more. He loves to watch them play in their little delusions. And she just has a particularly loud voice on the matter. And blatantly dislikes him. Well, keep it coming. It'll just be giving him more of a laugh!
Oh my god she's adorable. Like, it's always pleasant to meet fans - especially young ones - and Chant... well, Chant certainly left an impression. The young little nervous girl who wanted to meet the Barbarian King it was... it was just nice, y'know?
Plus, that li'l head seemed to be filled with ideas! Creativity in youth is definitely something to be cherished. Kath just hopes any inspiration she gives to the li'l one is, y'know... as a positive example. It's sometimes hard to be a positive example when you're known for destroying people.
Fffuck this asshole. Seriously, for all that they've put Billy through - for all that they are as a person. The fact they're even still allowed HtR sickens her to her very core.
She would love nothing more than to see this guy get his comeuppance. Hell, she'd be more than willing to give it to him for herself. He's a guy she wouldn't mind retiring...
She's a wrestler. Blake and Williams seems to like her. Other than that, not worth thinking about in the slightest.
Billy! Billy is... good. He's a good, nice kid. Okay, 'kid' who's the same age as her, but... Well, he's a decent guy. Just unfortunately extremely innocent and naieve.
Billy is someone Kath feels protective of - as he comes across someone who is very much in need of protection. Not just from others but from himself. He's made decisions in the past that she's often had to argue against, and some which have made her... more than a little upset at him. Still, he seems to be building a lot more personal strength these days - and she's certainly proud of him for that!
A really good friend. One who is a lot smarter than him at knowing who is healthy to be around.
...Whilst normally Kath would not be so inclined as to refer to someone as a 'creep', Darian is well... kind of a creep? Not in the pervy old man way - at least not towards her - but more in a... 'sits uncomfortably close to you on the train and makes openly judgemental statements disregarding general social etiquette' kind of way.
Not that he wasn't, uh, interesting. He had some... very interesting viewpoints which were arguably worth discussing, even if she didn't exactly AGREE with them. She'd just... rather not discuss them with HIM. He definitely wasn't pleasant company.
The Barbarian King is an awkward little thing. Little meaning figuratively - she is, unsurprisingly, a tall and well-built woman. But she's not exactly socially all-there, and she squirms in awkward situations. And there's perhaps a little part of him, a little tiny part of him, that just gets excited watching a large woman like that squirm beneath his heel. Perhaps he was a it too pushy, and perhaps he was a little too... let's say 'creepy', but her reactions, and seeing her in person, made for an interesting experience. Perhaps he'll come to one of her shows, just to make comparison point. Wonderful point of study.
Ugh. If the big guy wasn't bad enough, the tiny panderer didn't help matters. Whilst Baf had that air of deceptive charisma to him, which at least made him seem... easy to get on with at first? Okay it was regrettable, but-
Either way this guy seemed to just serve to do the monster's will, whilst moaning the whole time that the demon should be MORE horrible. Downright unpleasant. And incredibly irritating.
KATHY! Kath is like, the GREATEST. She's so nice and sweet and strong and I am going to suplex her a bunch and it's gonna be FUN.
Ah, yes, it's that minor celebrity that he accidentally *tripped* just as she came back from an *international journey*. Fantastic. THAT gave him a minor panic attack, and he hopes she's ok, but otherwise she um, she was nice! And she seemed equally as concerned about that whole uh... lost person dealio. That was... that was a bit strange.
