Anthro: Mao is perhaps a little chubbier then she would like to be, but she still confident and attractive. She weighs about 180lbs, and stands 5’5” tall. Her eyes change color depending on her mood. You can see more details on her ref sheet. Her hair is silvery and can be worn in many styles, tho it should always be at least shoulder length or longer. Her horn is always slightly shorter then her ears and rounded smooth so as to be cuddle-friendly. Her ears are triangular and have tufts on them. She has hooves and there is a lot of fluffy hair around them, like you see in friesians. Her red claws/nails on her hands are retractable and can be visible or not in pictures. Her tail is slightly prehensile and 6’ long.

Feral: Mao is a snow leopard and unicorn hybrid. The unicorn magic is what allows her to take on a feral form. It also allows her to manipulate herself into three main forms - Snow Leopard, Kitten, and Fairy. In all her forms, her tail is two times her length. And her body build should resemble a snow leopard in all forms, with her horn remaining slightly shorter then her ears and rounded. Her ears however are pointed and tufted, unlike a snow leoaprds. Her Snow Leopard size is 23” long nose to haunches, her weight being 54 lbs. Her Kitten size is 8” long nose to haunches, with her weight at 9 lbs. Her Fairy form is 1” long nose to haunches, and her weight is about 1 lb. She loves to use her Fairy form to perch on top of the heads of her friends and watch them draw.

• Horn is always slightly shorter than the ears, and rounded to be cuddle friendly.
• In anthro form, she has hands and hooves for feet. In feral form all four of her feet are paws.
• Her red claws/nails on her hands are retractable and can be visible or not in pictures.
• Her tail is always 2x the length of her body in feral form. It is 6’ long in anthro form and slightly prehensile.
• She can be seen wearing different outfits and sporting different hairstyles, as long as her hair is silvery and remains at least shoulder length or longer.

⇀ About Her Life

Mao is the Owner/Artisan of Mao’s Menagerie. Mao’s Menagerie is a personal crafting business that travels to conventions selling their wares. The company's primary products are costume accessories, some simple handmade jewelry, hair accessories, and a variety of sewn items. She is also a part-time pet bather at a grooming salon. She is fairly skilled at her job, and also has at least some intermediate knowledge about dog training. She loves working with animals, and also being around children. She has beginning crochet skills and average cooking/baking skills.

Her hobbies cover a wide variety of activities. She loves to play video games, though she is often not very good at them. Her response time is slowed due to her fibromyalgia. She doesn’t have much shame if she needs help from a guide - all that matters is if she is enjoying the game or not. She really loves to go camping, and especially loves camping with her friends of “Clan Jellyfish”, which originated as a group of friends who also happened to go to renaissance festivals together. Clan Jellyfish is a pirate group and they are all very close. Their activities have now expanded beyond just renaissance festivals. She often watches Netflix while she works on her various projects. Her favorite things to watch are animes and crime dramas or murder mysteries. She loves Sherlock Holmes, Poirot, Jessica Fletcher, Father Brown, and all sorts of other detectives. She listens to the “Great Detectives of Old Time Radio: Sherlock Holmes” podcast sometimes when trying to sleep. Her other favorite podcast is the “Romance of the 3 Kingdoms” podcast. It’s a retelling of the novel by someone who grew up in China with extra info about the characters who have become so steeped in the lore and culture of the Chinese people that the pure translation of the novel often doesn’t take time to let you get to know them. She also loves to cosplay, though she hasn’t gotten around to it lately. She really enjoys reading, and will often read straight through a book once she starts it. Getting busier has led to her not having a lot of time to read or write though, but she tries when she can. She loves taking care of her pets and maintaining her planted fishtanks. She will drink, but mostly casually with friends.

She defines her spiritual beliefs as 'spiritually eclectic'. She believes energy has power in this world, and that good or positive energy can have actual effects. She also thinks there is an afterlife of sorts - another realm comprised of energy. She really likes a lot of the beliefs of Wicca. Follows 'Do as ye will, as long as ye harm none' as her primary leading belief.

⇀ Important Moments

• Her fibromyalgia diagnosis after many years of struggling to figure out what was wrong with her. (They suspect she has had it since 2001.)
• Finding Jon to be a part of her life. She has never found a partner that suited her needs as well and she loves him dearly. The first time that they met in real life was probably one of the most important things to happen to her.
