I love your take on Gabriel. Growing up as a Christian, I only ever thought of Gabriel as a simple angel messenger and not considerably a prince among the Heavens. But giving Gabriel a detailed personality and character? That makes me way more interested. I also love that he loves children but he hates being mistaken as a babysitter. I find that funny.

They look like normal bodies of water, but can restore energy and heal minor wounds. Nothing spectacular since he's not the archangel of healing after all lmao, but it's still water of angelic origin!
I think Gabriel is definitely one of your more iconic characters, and I feel like especially his blue dress makes him very recognizable? And honestly, it's always really nice to see male/male-aligned characters who wear things like dresses without making it all weird, and I find it almost empowering he's a confident, strong character who dresses exactly how he pleases despite the problems it might cause for him. I also really enjoy characters who look cute but whose appearance should never be used to really determine their true character, especially if people underestimate them based on their looks.
I hope you don't mind if I ask some questions because I really like to do that and like to get to know characters even better!!
Aww, thanks a lot! I'm really happy to know you didn't find "weird", but rather empowering? I think it's one of the first times I see someone saying that about Gabriel, and tbh it hit home because I feel a bit similar haha... Also it makes me happy to find someone who likes him and that particular trait for something else than borderline fetishizing reasons.... In what kind of situations will Gabriel come across mortal humans?
Mostly when Lumirel asks him to deliver messages to humans, but there are many exceptions too! In the storyline of TPC in particular, Gaby just... lives among humans without really hiding himself, so he comes across humans in very mundane situations! :') He also has close human friends (ie. Ismaël or Marie) so he likes to spend time with them as well. He is so attached to his human friends that he will generally keep coming back to befriend his friends' descendants as well, basically "blessing" their families with his friendship. Such cases are rare because Gaby is pretty picky when it comes to relationships, but he is incredibly faithful.
What is his best experience with a mortal, and what's the worst?
I think one of his best experiences was his meeting with Ismaël because he instantly had a respectful attitude towards Gaby! Gaby hates being disrespected and that happens unfortunately quite often (especially during TPC, thanks Isabelle), so meeting an understanding human was super refreshing to him. By meeting him and seeing how quickly and sincerely he apologized for mistaking him for a" girl in a cosplay", Gabriel instantly knew that Ismaël could be trusted and that he would never judge him for anything.
The worst experience he had... I think it would involve Maxime (a character from TPC that isn't uploaded yet), because Maxime is very judgmental and, even worse, vocal about these judgements. Basically, he's a reverse Ismaël :') He purposefully disrespects Gabriel by belittling him, misgendering him, etc., saying that he could be a "better angel than him". Obviously Gaby is super mad at him and wishes he could severely punish Maxime for that, but he needs Lumi's authorisation. And punishing humans isn't really Lumi's cup of tea.
(Also, in TPC, Gabriel mentions Zechariah's disbeliefs towards his message and how he hated it, threatening Steve to do the same if he didn't let him dress as he wanted for a commercial he was supposed to appear in :'))
How tall is he exactly?
Oooof........ Difficult question because I unable to evaluate heights, that's why my characters never have heights listed on their profiles... But I'd say is close to the one of a 18-years-old afab human? So that make him short in comparison to his brother and other young adult characters, but not really "child-like short". Lumirel is way shorter than him :')
Also, regarding "the debate over this particular angel's gender that can be found in various theology and/or angelology circles" do you happen to have any good reads bookmarked? Because boy am I here for this kind of discourse
Aaaa rip I'm afraid I generally don't bookmark this kind of stuff, especially since it has been years since I've started to learn about this thing and building Gabriel's character around it ;; But I think searching something along the lines of "is the angel Gabriel male or female" on Google would be a good start!

And aww thank you so much, I'm glad you like how my characters tie together! A lot of my characters are shaped and characterized by the relationships they have with others! Standalone OCs are way more difficult for me to write and keep interested in :'D Anyways, I don't know when I'll find the time to upload Maxime (but don't worry, I surely will, one day!), but it's encouraging to know he sounds interesting haha!!
