Caro
UFBHYtU.png

Name ♦ Caro

Alias ♦ Servant, The Broken, Shackled Fear, Cazra's shield

Species ♦ Sulphurian - bat variant

Gender ♦ Female

Age ♦ Unknown, estimated to be roughly sixteen

Occupation ♦ Servant/Slave

Powers ♦ Incredibly rapid regeneration, natural flight capability, True understanding...?

Martial status ♦ Single

Personality

Caro is a very quiet and reserved inividual, whom spends much of her time tending to her fathers needs. She does her best to be incredibly selfless, and will often go out of her way to help individuals when needed. Whilst she may be shy, that is not to say that she is an individaul who is easily frightened - More often than not, she will do her best to stand up to those she believes are picking on people. She is relatively curious, but unlike her elder sibling she does not allow it to get the better of her.

Whilst she may sound [and appear] monoatomic, she is surprisingly emotional, perhaps more so than any other Sulphurian. To top it off, she is also the only one who is deemed truly pacifistic, refusing to do more than push people away. This would have led her to become an outcast amongst Sulphurians, except her family origins [of which she does not speak] have already sealed her fate on that account.

Family and friends

Cazra ♦ Father

Laduna ♦ Mother

Kurrin/Spark ♦ Brother

Opalin ♦ Sister [deceased]

Biography

Born to the Sulphurian equivilent of the Bogey-woman and a man mistrusted by many, many Sulphurians went out of their way to avoid the young bat-like child. That is not to say she lead a lonely existance - her mother favoured her greatly, and her elder-brother would train with her frequently - but ultimately it meant she was not particularily close to many of their race. However, this did not particularily bother her, for at the time she had very little interest in making friends. In fact, she took a small degree of pleasure of using her powers of telepathic manipulation and Eldritch energy to twist Sulphurians and Beasts to her will, pitting them against each other in a mockery of gladatorial combat - presumably, this did very little to further her repuation with her fellow Sulphurians.

At the estimated age of twelve, Cazra took her down to the core of the planet - claiming he was taking her to witness the source of their peoples power. As to be expected of Cazra however, his machinations were far more... darker.

Believeing his daughter to be close to the perfect vessal for Sulphurians, he pinned her to the ground before the unbound using large shards of spirit-crystals which slowly began to draw vasts amount of emotional and psionic energy into her body, and for a brief moment she was obliterated from all of reality and transformed into a being of pure energy. For a moment, she saw *everything*; Everything that was, could be, would be, might be, and would never be, and the sudden transition cracked her mind. Mere moments however, the crystals dragged her back into existance, seemingly unharmed [if not a bit distressed] and with only two difference - Her rich, black hair had turned a snowy white, and an odd tattoo blossoming on her left shoulder.

Upon freeing her from her bounds, however, Cazra found everything was not as it should be. The cruel streak that ran through Caro's veins was gone - as were her powers. Instead, she had been blessed with what appeared to be regenative abilities beyond compare - Which, whilst meaning Cazra's experiments had been a partial success, her sudden placid nature meant she was unlikely to ever seek to rule or dominate those lesser than herself. Indeed, Caro spent much of her time from this point onwards wandering about their home as if in a permenant daze - until, eventually, Cazra confined her to the rudimentary basement.

Following the Citadel war, Cazra appears to have released his daughter - who at long last seems to be returning from her six year stupor. She is rather quiet now, and follows her father about like a lost little lamb - all the while performing tasks more befitting of a servant, instead of the daughter of a warlord.

Recently, she has been sighted on the world of Mobius, seemingly seeking out an individual by the name of Kurrin. Whilst she claims she is simply a relative seeking out a distant family member, those in the know realise this can mean that the Lord of the Citadel has finally arrived on Mobius.

Trivia

Caro was originally not a Sulphurian, but instead a being from one of the few neighbouring planets. After changes to Sulphurous' lore meaning it was the lone planet in it's sky, this naturally had to change.

Originally, Caro's powers were ability mimicry and the loss of them was caused by attempting to copy Cazra's powers during the duel where he, originally, enslaved her. The backlash of so much Unbound energy turned her powers upon herself.
