For Lena, she looks for outfits that are both comfortable and cute. This usually includes short skirts and sleeveless shirts. However, for footwear, she always enjoys wearing tall boots, which make it easier to travel in. One other key thing is she prefers not to wear outfits that show off her midriff due to her worrying about how she looks (but people always say she overthinks this.)
Lena also loves to keep her hair long, similar in length to characters like Cynthia and Fennel (more so like Fennel) with her hair reaching past her knees. Part of it is due to her feeling like it reminds her of her mother whenever she looks in a mirror. Usually she keeps it straight, but during her visit to Alola, she gave it a wavy feature, which she would use when she also performs as an idol. At the start of her journey, she tied a pink hair ribbon as an accessory on the back of her hair, but after Battle Frontier when she was going to travel solo through Johto for the Pokémon Contests, she removes this ribbon and gives it to David as a good luck charm. Now she wears a special pink flower accessory that has four heart shaped petals on it.
However, above anything else, the one item she cherishes and always wears no matter the situation (be it sleepwear, travel, contest, or even when she showers) is her Mother's Necklace. This unique necklace from 'The People of the Water' is unlike any other.
For her Kanto and Johto Journey, Lena wears a simple blue sleeveless shirt which is tucked into a short pink skirt that is ruffled at the end with different shades of pink. Her boots are high and bright blue in color and are tightened by a clip as opposed to laces. A pair of blue long socks are peaking out barely from the boots.
When traveling to Hoenn and through Battle Frontier, Lena wears a sleeveless shirt that uses straps that goes over her shoulders so it exposes more of her upper body, but not a whole lot, and tries to also show more of her midriff. It's water themed with a wave graphic on the bottom of the shirt. Similar to her previous skirt, this one has the same design, but is colored blue and has three bubbles on the side as a graphic. She wears a darker pair of boots that are similar to her previous pair.

When she visits Kalos, she wears a light blue dress that is tightened in the back and wears a belt that keeps it secure. Unique to this outfit is the single sleeve on her right arm, that is tight close to the shoulder, but very loose by her hand. It would slide down her arm whenever she raises it high. She wears a red ribbon on the front of her dress where her chest is. Her boots are similar to her other pairs but are tightened by laces as opposed to buckles.
When Lena goes to the Alola region, her outfit is similar to items that are purchased in the Sun and Moon games. She wears a sleeveless shirt that has a strap that goes around her neck, and has fish and water patterns on it and is tied to her left side which helps reveal a lot more of her midriff, feeling more comfortable doing so in the Alola region so she could feel more of the wonderful Alolan weather. She also wears a floral pattern long skirt that's navy blue in color. Unlike her other outfits, she wears a pair of sandals. To protect her from too much sun, she wears a short sun hat similar to what Selene from US/UM wears, but has a blue strap and her flower accessory on it.

After she helped Misty's sisters with the underwater show, she was allowed to keep her Mermaid Outfit she wore during the show as a thank you gift. She sometimes wears this whenever she wants to swim around with her Pokémon. This tail is dark blue in color, close to the same shade as her hair and is sequined to give it a sparkle effect. The tailfin is based off the same tailfin design of Vaporeon's tail. A water drop shaped gem is placed around the waistline. She wears a pink shell bra which has a thick strap to keep it secure. She also wears several beads, two as bracelets, and one that goes around the back of her head (similar to Violet's beads).
