Amadeus Mistral, 32, callsign Lineatrix. Hailing from a world where magic is seen as a malicious, corrupting force, Amadeus took on the role of aetherial researcher as soon as he graduated college. At first, he and his research team made decent strides in their experiments and got a few discoveries under their belts. But as soon as the government got involved in their research lab their experiments immediately took on a darker and riskier edge, until one of their tests backfired, leaving Amadeus corrupted and the rest of the research team dead. Almost immediately realizing it would only be a matter of time before the government makes him their latest guinea pig, he sabotages what was left of the lab and flees the planet. 

Amadeus is the epitome of the absent-minded professor stereotype, and is extremely eccentric person. He's a certified genius and his mind is sharp as a knife, but none of that is apparent if you take his aloof, goofy, laissez-faire attitude at face value. He's talkative, chatty, and easily amused, and gets enthusiastic for the smallest things. He tends to bury himself in his work and not come up for air for hours at a time.

• Heelys — To escape the feelies.
• Tablet — If he's not at a computer, he's constantly tapping away at this thing.

• Technokinesis — Amadeus can control and manipulate machines, especially computers and computer-like devices.
• Photokinetic Construction — Amadeus can create hard light holograms, items, and other physically interactive constructs. These constructs become weird and trippy when he's running low on sleep.

• His birthday is February 11.
• He's 5' 8", with an average build.
• Amadeus is a speedrunner for several retro games, and his times for one particular game are consistently in the top 10.
