post-a crack in time, in the lombax dimension, someone got the idea of "hey so maybe we should check out what's going on in our original dimension and see if its on fire yet". sabs was not that person, but ended up getting recruited to help find the original dimension and cross back over safely without the dimensionator. then he got punted through dimensions in the hopes that maybe itd work.

good news: it worked! also good news: he found and befriended the one surviving lombax in their home dimension! bad news: had no way to reopen the connection or let any of the other lombaxes know he's not dead.

ratchet was very confused and also disappointed.

now sabs sleeps on his couch and does his best to help with the whole "hero thing". he's not very good at it and can be somewhat a comic relief sidekick.

probably ends up dating ratchet or at least being qpps. friendly towards talwyn but is somewhat intimidated by her, is buddies with clank but thats pretty much a pre-requisite for being ratchet's friend lmao

very absent-minded and forgetful, spaces out a lot, writes stuff down CONSTANTLY and has five billion sticky notes scattered around anywhere he spends any amount of  time in. is vague about what happened to his arm, and its unclear if its because of his forgetfulness or if he just likes messing with ratchet by dodging questions or coming up with a different story every time. the blue scars are DEFINITELY an aesthetic thing though

has horrible aim and yet owns a FLAMETHROWER. all of his weapons are second-hand from ratchet except for the omniwrench and he refuses all of ratchet's attempts to give him an upgrade
