Ed L

Ed is a stoner lizard. At a young age, he read a magic tome as a dare, tried out a few spells from it, and (thanks to being naturally quite attuned to magic) awoke as a magic user really easily. Now a prodigy wizard, Ed can control fire, ice, lightning, and even raw magical energy. Though, Ed decided being a wizard was not his true calling in life, and became a DJ and weed junkie. He took on the monniker of Electro-Dance Lord and ran a club for a few years, until the loud noise drove him mostly deaf. Now retired from the DJ industry, he works at the club now as a technician, setting up equipment before shows (and taking out his hearing aid during the shows). Now, his new friend Amvira has taken over and runs shows at the club in his old time slot. They hang out and get into shenanigans together, even though Amvira (being that she's a demon) is completely immune to weed.

• Ed doesn't do drugs other than weed, and even avoids alcohol. Weed's All Natural!
• He's really good at cooking and baking and we're not just talking Pot Brownies here
• Ed's magic is stronger when stoned, somewhat of an inversion compared to the vast majority of other casters.
• If you cut Ed's tail off, it'd grow back. If you cut it off again, he'd be like "Dude."
• Going deaf has given Ed a newfound appreciation for songs with a heavy bass.
• Ed is skilled enough at making music in FL studio that he can compose an unmastered song without his hearing aid. Amvira sometimes masters the songs for him.
• Magical spells exist that could restore Ed's hearing fully, but he couldn't afford it even if he was interested.
• Ed's got an unfazeable sense of self-esteem, without being cocky or arrogant. He's got no insecurities to speak of.
• That said, he might be a bit too slow to anger, and too quick to forgive, making him a bit of a pushover at times.
• Ed likes the works of Seth Rogen. He has terrible taste.

In-Game Fighting Style

Ed L is the archetypical spellcaster teammate. Low health, low attack, high magic, and numerous high damage spells. Having a wide variety of ice, lightning, and fire spells means he never has to deal with enemies elemental protections, and capitalize on their vulnerabilities. He has some bonus survivability in the form of passive health regeneration, though it's not super fast.

Ed's promotions are Battlecaster and Doombringer. Battlecaster gives him lower costing close range abilities and some extra survivability, while Doombringer ups the ante in the form of numerous massive area spells to bring down some serious thunder.
