Flicker's birth name was Dancing Flame due to the odd magic that clung to him. While his fur was naturally black, an ethereal glow like grains of amber sand danced and swayed along it, much like a candle's flame.
Imagine his mother's surprise when he told her that he had become a goddess. Yeah, that happens sometimes.
It was after many events that Flicker chose a female form. Embracing that she found love in her friend and comrade in arms, Lithuk. Their relationship bloomed like flame, and within less than two weeks they were wed. They had traveled to the northern reaches and climbed the mountains to meet his 'mother,' a great silver dragon known as Roixendionkmet, or 'Snowcap.' This more common nickname was simply because she was large enough to top the snowy mountain. Flicker introduced herself in a spontaneous dance of expression, artfully displaying the story of her life, tribulations and new love. In the many thousands of years of Snowcap's life, she had never seen something so spectacular. She saw the unbridled love the two had for one another and treasured it. Their marriage was abrupt and unplanned, but the cake was massive.
Apotheosis came not much later. She, her family, dragon in-laws and some of her friends had been invited to leave their world for another, one that they had briefly touched. That was the main reason they had traveled to meet Snowcap, to explain their findings. Immediately upon coming to the new world, she fell into the empty seat of the world's pantheon. Flicker became The Fool.
A new land was created for them at the center of everything, and their small group would need to establish a new nation and a kingdom capable of standing on its own. Divine friends and foes came from every direction.
