Finneu

On the first full moon of her 25th birthday, Finneu and her twin sister underwent the ritual to bless them by their gods and recieve powers based on the various aspects of their world. Being as they were also the daughters of the king, the event was monumental. Anyone could undergo the ritual, but theirs was special. It was no surprise when the outcome was also special. Finneu, recieved the blessing of time, though some consider it a curse. She moves through the fabric of time as if she were slipping from room to room in the castle, seemlessly drifting in and out of the lives of those around her. She's ageless, or at the very least appears to be. 

Her Twin, Arin, recieved the aspect of Death, more of a lifelong sentence than a gift. He dies, but is never dead, always reviving shortly afterwards. He does not age, like her, but he does not have the luxery of skipping the hard times. When their parents died he suffered through it to become King, while Finneu floated aong in time and space. Hundreds of years passed, he would catch glimpses of his sister as she flitted through his lifetime. He came to resent her, and ultimately fueled his decision to kill her. Of course, easier said then done when she can slip through his fingers like smoke. He has all the time in the world however, and he makes sure she knows it. 

Because of her gift Finneu has very few meaningful connections. It is impossible to resist the urge to move forward, and she inevitably betrays or abandons anyone in her life that is mortally bound. No one else has ever recieved the blessing of time, and so her life is a lonely one. She is out of touch with most emotions, having "outgrown" them, which alienates her to most others she comes across. As time passes, the world forgets her, ravaged by war and peace alike. Her brother might never forget her, but most everyone else has. 

All that remains is a myth that if she appears in your path, it is a sign of bad luck, for surely her brother and his armies will be close behind.
