Archie is a purple, short-haired cat with golden horns (same shade as his eyes, nose, inner ears, paw pads and tongue) and an abnormally fluffy tail, despite the rest of his body having significantly shorter fur. the stars on his body are meant to depict constellations and are a representation of Archie's unique species. currently, the cat is at the age of 22 but he is the next in line to his family's throne.  

with Archie being royalty, he knows that he can boss most people around and get them to do what he wants; his personality is mostly arrogant, and he doesn't hesitate when he wants something to be heard. he doesn't like anyone telling him what to do, either. since he's part of the royal family he can get away with most things. Archie's biggest hatred is when someone Belittles him or thinks they are better than him; this is what can really drive him mad. everyone knows this cat won't hesitate to shed blood if necessary. 

''I won't tolerate this kind of crap.. if you think you can embarrass me like that and get away with it, then you better think again."

despite him having a bad reputation, he is quite well-mannered and civil most of the time. he is very popular amongst girls though, but he never actually had a solid relationship with any of them; he ended up using the many girlfriends he had since he never cared about them. The only time he had ever gotten interest in a girl ended up being bad on her part; the cat had formed a toxic love towards her when she told him she didn't have the same feelings towards Archie. Since Archie never got rejected due to his good looks and charms, he did not take well to her rejectment. perhaps it was his past with Midas that he likes to take his hurting out on others, and for this he despised having the hurt brought back to him again.

Backstory

Archie has always been an extremely wealthy cat due to being born into the most well renown royal family gave him an advantage many did not; money and fame. Archie had inherited his mother's appearance and his father's strong will and pride. The kingdom he and his family ruled over saw him as a model prince and everyone wanted to be just like him! So much so that their family only gained more notoriety due to such. Especially for their general benevolence towards their neighboring kingdoms, despite one of them being aggressive and confrontational.

When he was young, his parents (namely his mother; June) would assure that his finance was well covered for pretty much his entire future, that he was safe and secure and could live the life he wanted, no matter how he wanted to live it (as long as it didn't tarnish their image or break the fragile system they had in place) and he could have his choice of a bride. Archie never took them up on the offer of a mate, and his parents never forced the idea of it.

His family in question was made up of 4 cats: his mother June, his father Wilson, his brother Dune, and him. Archie and his brother never got along since they were pretty much polar opposites of each other; while Archie cared not of the others around him and his future, his brother insisted on getting a good education nonetheless to become a truly benevolent ruler and make it so that their family's reign could last for generations as long as no tyrant came to try and take it away. Dune seemed to want to keep the Vilsik name to be honored and remembered.

Dune would study, do everything the grownups would tell him to do, never getting into any sort of trouble. Archie would often sneer at him for that, calling him a 'good for nothing suck up' but his brother never took his words for granted. At the beginning, it seemed liked Dune just shrugged these words off... but Archie would feel the truth of the backlash he'd face and what his brother was really like behind closed doors.

Archie's relationship with June wasn't good, but it wasn't awful either; she'd often spoil the young cat with whatever he wanted since she was so wealthy and never cared despite the fact she had plenty of people come to her and Wilson for help being ignored each time. The servants were also whisked away each time they were considered a nuisance. Though she still showed affection for her son, the two never really had a long conversation. Deep down, Archie desired more attention from his mom but he never outwardly said it as he feared being seen as weak compared to his brother or father. To be a viable option for the position of the throne, he couldn't show that he was weak.

Archie's relationship with his father Wilson was very strained; it was obvious to him that his father valued his brother over him because of how well-behaved and educated he was and complimented how Dune was likely to be the successor of the throne due to his behavior, knowledge and strength. Wilson would compare the two often and raise Dune's strengths and abilities compared to what Archie clearly lacked in leadership. Wilson saw Dune as a successful leader that their kingdom would need. This would make Archie feel overwhelming bouts of jealousy and caused him to feel a lot more hatred towards his brother. To make matters worse, his father would point out more of Archie's mistakes as he got older, continuing to compare him to his brother saying ''You should be more like him, even though you're older you keep acting like a small child and that will only raise a tyrant in you, something I will not allow.'' Archie hated being compared to his brother since he always thought he was better than everyone else (Archie has narcissistic traits, and likely has a god complex as well). 

The incident 

One time, Archie lost control when in (another) argument with Dune that ended up violently. Archie punched him and slammed his head into the ground, occasionally biting until he was unconscious. The two had been talking amicably when out of the blue, Dune had started to make fun of him, provoking him and showing his true colors; Dune had only been in good behavior in front of his parents and with everyone else for the sake of being the favorite and well liked, to set up such a tragedy. But at home, when the two were home alone, Dune let Archie know what he really thought of him. 

''You know.. I'm only putting on this 'nice guy' façade because I know mom and dad will love me more, because it will make me King and you'll just be some advisor or noble, to be cast aside. It's not like they ever appreciated you anyways. You have always been that piece of trash that only walks around thinking he is better than everyone else, when you're really not. You're only born to be a tyrant, and we don't have time to deal with such filth like you. Guess what? Nobody likes you. Not even our parents, not ever, because of your own abusive and manipulative behavior, that everyone would agree would only be typical of a monster. I am ashamed to be your brother, Archie. I don't know how you became such an evil piece of shit but I know once I'm the ruler, you'll be outcasted and exiled. For treason against our kingdom. I know what you did to those who even remotely got on your bad side for no reason whatsoever. The public will agree with me and kick you out and I will have only needed to motion for a trial. The people would do the rest of the work for me."

His brother then ended up in the hospital, with it soon after being discovered that he had internal bleeding and died shortly after his admittance. The royal family decided it was best to cover this incident up (despite June and Wilson knowing exactly who was behind this), since they didn't want this information to be leaked to the media or the public. His mother, devastated as she was, she and Wilson both agreed to these terms, leaving Archie completely empty inside. What he had done was unforgivable, but strangely enough he didn't seem to feel any regret or dismay in what he did. He could still remember those harsh words and his brother's menacingly, nasty eyes. He could hear the snarl of his voice as it drowned out all he was thinking that day. 

''Yes brother.. kill me and live with the consequences. Let the world see the monster you really are.."

Both his parents were extremely distant towards Archie after that, with him being ignored practically every second of the day but they never let their cold act get shown to the media- to the outside, it was like the two had suddenly become different beings, with them smiling and waving and talking to Archie with those awfully cheerful voices. It was all so fake it made him sick. But he too, went along with this act; he was far too full of pride to let others see his weaknesses.
