Sylphine loves nature and has a strong bond with the outdoors. She's curious and self-reliant, but able to think things through before she acts, making her a leader in most groups she joins whether she wants to be or not. Sylphine is passionate, unafraid to call people out on their actions - or to ignore them and do something herself to counteract what they put into the world.

To her, balance is the most important part of being a Ranger. She wants to balace the needs of nature with those of people. On a small scale, she works to keep the local forest ecosystem she lives in balanced. On a large scale, she specializes as a Fey Wanderer, guarding the border between the two realms and dealing with any rogue fey creature that crosses over.

Sylphine hates how she was raised and the class of nobility, and sees wealth as a mark of greed. She lives plainly and gives to others as much as she can, only using her (renounced) noble title as a tool when "average" citizens are ignored. Her biggest flaw is her vanity, which will overtake her giving nature in a heartbeat. She considers herself beautiful and wants to stay that way. Sylphine always wears makeup, keeps her clothes tidy and clean, and fixes her hair. She lives in a forest. She has to do this a lot.

Backstory

Raised in a noble Drow family, with the intention she would take over the family line. During a schooling field trip, she had an encounter with a fey that would forever change her. She became driven on a path to preserve nature and help maintain balance. She was constantly in opposition with her parents, publicly objecting to their actions. After one particularly heated argument, she ran away to become a Ranger, and has never looked back.
