El

"I'm going to be on top before you know it!"

El is small but tough! Often looked down on for their size. El wants nothing more than to join the Fighting Ring and challenge the big guns. Most people see El as a small unassuming elf, but he's got a special ability that gives in an edge in a fight! He's able to transform into a Plumed Basilisk Lizard. However, while transforming is a common skill among skilled-fighters that come to The Neutral Zone, El isn't very good at controlling it and is only able to shift when he's pushed to his limits as a last ditch attempt as saving his skin. Having been born and raised in The Oasis, he's only been able to watch the fights and not join in on the action. He does not have a country to represent as The Oasis is a Neutral Territory, nor the training and skill necessary to get recruited.

In the meantime, he runs around with Glam and basically acts like a little henchman for him, trying to make a name for himself and prove his fighting prowess. He's happy to do whatever Glam tells him, which is often roughing up someone who looked at Glam funny. But he also appreciate Glam's connections. Currently, El finds themself trying to enter in the minor leagues of fighting by participating in underground fights, which have been outlawed by The Oasis, but if he's not able to get into the big leagues, it's his only option, not that he's ever minded bending the rules for personal gain. The world isn't fair. But if he's able to fight, maybe he can make it that way one day if he so chooses.

He really looks up to other fighters, but when he looks up to someone, it just means he wants to best them! El's never had a place to call home and thinks that's made them stronger. But it also makes them not trust people and people not trust them. He lives on the thrill of the fight and the validation of the crowd.
