Appearance

Though he isn't a warrior and so doesn't train as hard as some other Venias might, Nazaire plays plenty of sports so he's quite muscular. The undershirt he wears under his coat is form-fitting while his pants are loose and poofy for comfort. The main point is that his pants are easy to take off (laughs). Nazaire is 27 years old but looks a bit younger than that. His hair is perpetually in a "just rolled out of bed" style.

Personality

The ore-sama type. He likes being the center of attention and having things his way. He doesn't particularly care about other people's problems, however, so in his circle of friends the relationships are rather shallow. They get together to have fun but go elsewhere for comfort and deep conversation. Nazaire is fine with this. He is a rather judgmental person and is harsh towards those he considers beneath him. He has a bit of a sadistic streak and enjoys teasing others and savoring their reactions. Nazaire doesn't like to fight or deal with Devoras and doesn't understand the mentality of the Venias who do enjoy their duties.

Nazaire likes sports, particularly more high-class ones like croquet and badminton. He is pretty good at them and can be a sore loser since he's quite competitive. In general, he is an arrogant person. He believes in his own abilities and has no problems with conveying this confidence to others—sometimes to an extreme point. He doesn't like dealing with people who have low self-esteem or are gloomy. Nazaire affirms that everyone has a purpose and something they're meant to do, so he finds unconfident people exasperating. This is also why he is baffled by lower class people trying to do high-class things. He doesn't like people or things to be out of place and those attempting to rise above their station irritate him.

Despite his usual outgoing and dominant nature, however, he is different around Eseld and Matsuri who are his lovers. It is not that he is his "true self" around them exactly, but that he considers both of them to be on his level. As such, he depends on them and allows them to order him around because he loves and respects them very much. You could even go so far as to say that he is submissive and masochistic towards them. In a sexual context, he is more than happy to let either (or both) of them take the lead. Because he's usually so domineering, Nazaire finds this gap refreshing. He often still exudes his air of bravado even around Eseld and Matsuri, however, it's just that it's possible for him to be submissive only around them. Nazaire is able to let his guard down only around them. He is fiercely protective of both women, as well. For example, some noble Moon Venias are prejudiced against Sun Venias, but Nazaire will not allow anyone to badmouth Matsuri in his presence. Though he often spends time with his group of friends since Eseld and Matsuri have their own duties to attend to, he will drop his friends immediately if the two of them wish it.
