Rune, most commonly known as Other - takes on a cryptidesque role. He's rumoured about, but no one knows if he actually exists..unless you've seen him. He used to belong to a high class family, taking care of everything from chores, to serving - security to childsitting, having a close bond with the young daughter of the house. A notable feature, if you meet him in disguise - is a lisp.
After being framed for the murder of his beloved human family by a jealous family friend, five years ago, Rune takes advantage of his elusive qualities - quietly conspiring, researching, and plotting to not only clear his name - but achieve fairness for all. Many rumours were spread about him, some doubting his existence, others rumouring him to be a cypher or cultist that charms young grems into signing their lives away. The truth is: Rune is merely a wronged anarchist, he doesn't seek to hurt others - and has good intentions, but questionable methods. Who knows if you can actually summon him by putting bones of whales and ratskulls in a circle, or if you say his name three times at 3AM. Usually, he's in the right place at the right time, and tends to 'bump into' those that have been trying to contact him - so long as their intentions are good. Rune has taken to studying cyphers and their qualities, calling himself a cypherologist, and somewhat longing to become one. He believes upon doing so, he'd have more influence to push things in the right direction - but getting there is nigh on impossible. He also has many rats. Loads of rats, taming street ones is a hobby, as he uses them to deliver messages and even keep an eye on certain areas. Despite his mysterious aura, Rune is actually pretty harmless - physically, at least, but he has no desire to bring harm to anyone - if he can help it.
