Silica's body is made of an extremely strong, white material unknown to humans, with a slightly weaker & transparent material surrounding her limbs and their contained stardust. Her stardust is a mixture of blue and purple gas with actively twinkling stars within it. She has dark purple hair with the same blue and purple highlights throughout it, usually tied back in a messy ponytail. The halos on either side of her head are glowing circles.

 

Silica was born in the heart of a star nearly a thousand (Earth) years ago, somewhere out on the edges of the Milky Way. She's spent hundreds of those years wandering the galaxy, exploring planets and asteroids. She stumbled across Earth early on, but found the level of civilisation boring at the time despite the rare biological life. After a few eras and technological revolutions Silica returned to Earth and has been trying to assimilate into human culture - a feat and a half for someone with her appearance.

Personality-wise, Silica possesses a keen mind and sense of curiosity that drives her to explore everything she possibly can. She hasn't quite got the human language down but tries her best, even if she's alienated anyway due to species differences. Thankfully her body is mostly indestructible or she'd likely have lost limbs to curious (greedy) people. If something doesn't go as she expected Silica can become frustrated, even to the point of lashing out physically. She's pretty much a human teenager minus all the personable traits desired in society.
