Appearance

Nekne is 168 cm (5 ft 6 in) tall, slender lady. She has not much strength in her body, and she is slowly gaining weight for not exercising enough. Nekne has thick red hair she likes to keep semi-short and usually keeps the hair off of her face with a loose ponytail. Her skin is light, face shape square and her eye is light brown with a green ring around the pupil. Nekne has only one eye, and the scarred remains of her right eye are hidden under an eyepatch. A long scar under the patch goes over the bridge of the nose.
Clothing and accessories: Wears loose, warm clothes and likes to cover her body properly. Has an eyepatch on her right eye.

Abilities

Nekne's magical skill level is unusually high for humans, and she is an incredibly powerful mage. She has studied magic all her life, and knows at least a bit of almost every possible field of magic studies. She is very resourceful with spells, and her magic lasts for remarkably long time.

Personality

Nekne is a talkative, quick-witted woman. She always has something to say, and her manner of speech is very vivid and cheeky, and she is not afraid to tell things honestly as she sees them. She is smart and has knowledge of many things, and even though she is an easy-going person, she uses her spare time more likely with her life-long magic studies than with people. Nekne has no problem with bending the rules if it is necessary. She likes to make favors to people just because they will owe her one, and almost every villager in Frusoka is in her debt someway.

Backstory

Jaskorid's family has studied magic passionately for many generations, and Nekne continued the legacy with her older brother Kenglain and younger sister Nielmea. The siblings were overly competitive, and to beat Kenglain for good Nekne and Nielmea decided to get more magical power by becoming priestesses. So after the regular academic magic studies the sisters started divine studies, though their hearts were not in the subject but in gaining more power. To start making experiments, they decided to move somewhere quieter, and in the end all of the Jaskorid siblings moved to Frusoka. Even though Nielmea married a villager named Genfui and had a child, she and Nekne never stopped experimenting. Finally they thought they were ready to summon Endaianee, the goddess of coincidences, and steal Her divine power.
The summoning was a disaster. Endaianee didn't like the sisters' idea and nearly killed them, but Nekne could resist Her and lost only her right eye. Nielmea was gone, however, but Nekne could get her lifestream in a ring she gave Genfui, so there was still hope that she wouldn't be gone forever. Together they decided to find a way to restore Nielmea, and started a years long journey.
