Rough first map of the setting of Dreamworld: After The End. Made using Inkarnate Pro. Areas listed are not the world of the setting in total but rather the regions in which a majority of the story takes place.

The Municipality of Silverton is a heavy forested, secluded region about the size of a rural American county. Those living within the borders of the municipality enjoy life largely as it was before nuclear war destroyed most of human civilization. The surrounding suburbs vary from well off gated communities to small cabins in the woods occupied by modest farmers or trappers. Silverton borders mutated forests to the northeast and the notoriously dangerous Foggy Pass to the south. Protected by the rough terrain of the pass and the untamed wilderness on the other side, Silverton is a relatively safe place to live after the end of the world.

Foggy Pass, a twelve mile descent from Silverton and into The Flats, is an ecological deadzone that modern science has yet to explain. The surface of the region is completely desolate, all plant life having died off leaving only bald stone underfoot. The lack of plant life has made the area popular for prospectors and mining companies to stake claims on the many cave mouths dotting the locale. For one reason or another, a thick colorless fog pours from the mouths of some of these caves, an unusual correlation between fog thickness and the presence of rich veins of coal, copper, and iron. The entirety of the pass is shrouded in a perpetual twilight, the fog blotting out the sun on the best of days.

The Flats make up the majority of the setting as long flat savannas artificially created by nuclear warfare. The region is known for it's pockets of fertile farmland and the punishing heat during the summer months. The ranching town of Dalesville and the sugar plantations of Brine Bay sit on these pockets of fertile land. Those crossing the flats by foot must take extra precautions to ensure they have enough water to last them through their trek across the dry land. Pit Town, so named for its proximity to The Pit, is the largest town in The Flats. Mineral wealth drives the gears of Dreamworld and Pit Town sits atop the gaping entrance to a massive underground cave network that's estimated to reach far beyond Silverton, the many winding forks laden with gemstones and precious metals. However a recent rise in immigration and staking by prospectors has lead many in the town to question how deep is too deep to go in search of gems and gold. The number of people disappearing into the caves never to be seen again has sharply increased in the previous months. Air transit between Pit Town and Silverton is viewed as the best option for traveling through The Flats, often in the form of personal aircraft of the ever popular mini-zeppelin. Brine Bay serves as the main port in the White Gulf, sending and receiving resources from the small island communities on the gulf.

Fort Graham stands as the front line in Silverton's war on Apocalypse. Apocalypse was ground zero for the missile strike on the state that Silverton once occupied and is populated by the walking dead and those hideously mutated by the nuclear fallout. The Deadlands are a stretch of badlands that reach from the hills separating it from The Flats and off far to the west, eventually becoming a craggy no mans land. Certain faiths that have risen after the war preach that the entrance to the afterlife is hidden deep inside the heart of Apocalypse and the city must be purged of the mutants occupying it in order for people to reach the next world safely.

The jungle paradise of Bigtooth Island and Mount Gastol sit in farthest reach of the White Gulf. No explorer has yet braved the sea beyond and returned. The island itself is a large, lush tropical jungle with a diverse ecosystem. Chief among the animals found on Bigtooth Island is it's namesake; multiple species of predatory megafauna resembling giant reptiles. The island has a reputation for being a rugged place that only the toughest can survive on, even without the dinosaurs. Despite this, a commune of humans and mutants has sprung up. The Bowl, city of the undead Dust Men, has become a hotspot for people who have forsaken their former lives in search of a new start. Man, abomination, or anything in between are welcomed with open arms provided they're able to support themselves or lend aid to others.

The Citadel of Purity stands as the last bastion of pre-war decadence and American exceptionalism. Populated almost entirely by pristine, unmutated humans the Citadel is a large metropolitan area surrounded by great walls and reaching high into the sky. Those lucky enough to live inside those walls lead lives of luxury and excess, far removed from the strains of post-war life. Citadel denizens, often referred to by their mutant class as Primes, rule over Silverton and most of The Flats due to their immense wealth left over from before the war and vast reserves of clean water. The Citadel Credit is a monetary system almost universal to Dreamworld with even Apocalypse trading in credits due to the value of clean water. Provided a person amasses enough credits they are theoretically able to purchase entry to and residence inside of the Citadel; though the amount of credits required are often exorbitant and far beyond the realm of possibility for most people.

Misty Isle is a narrow stretch of land as of yet unexplored by neither the Silverton military nor private groups. The area is covered in unnaturally thick fog similar to Foggy Pass.
