Parliament is a member of the prestigious Court of Owls: one of the many orders of beast hunters dedicated to keeping the people of Grayhold safe from the unnatural horrors that stalk the night. Since their parents’ retirements, She has started to act as the hunting face of their family, as they are the one who is most often out on work. She’s an up and coming member of the court, neither brand spanking new nor a veteran. Her use of a heavy crossbow as her main weapon as opposed to a supplement is a little unorthodox in comparison to others in her order, but perfectly suited to the wilds of Grayhold. She specializes in tracking and putting down devils and demons. They believe that fiends are one of the biggest threats to the survival of Grayhold. She’s well respected in her community, and people often look to her guidance in times of need. Despite their role as a vengeance paladin, she doesn’t really hold grudges, and doesn't find satisfaction in exacting revenge. She’s very calm and level headed, and manages well under stress. She makes judgements on a case-by-case basis, they tend not to blindly believe anything. She firmly believes that nobody should be left behind.

Parliament was born into the Court of Owls. Her parents, Riqui and Noctus, are high ranking members of the order, and one of the wealthier families in Odonrith. She had a decent childhood; her parents were often busy with work, but tried their best to make time for her and her brother, [NAME]. She chose to take up the lifestyle of a hunter, even after being given the option to live a more mundane life in the city. Her family's work is her pride and joy; it gives her a purpose beyond maintaining some sort of expectation. They act as the hunting face of their family, as they are the one who is  most often out on work. Riqui and Noctus tend to handle things back in  Odonrith, as they have retired as hunters. Despite the danger and the drama and the gore that comes with her occupation, it is a choice she'd make time and time again.

Parliament is often held up as one of the poster children of the Court of Owls. She tries her best to act as a model hunter for other, newer members of her order, but secretly loathes the pedestal she's been placed upon. She's very passionate about her job, less so about the prestige that came with it. She's generally pretty laid back, but won't hesitate to fuck up anyone who messes with them. She's relatively easy to work with, but more awkward in large social situations. She's definitely more at home either alone or in a small group. They're definitely not interested in becoming a part of the political scene, like her parents before her.
