Nickname - Daedae (Day-day) | Petname(s) - Nugget
Daedae was Chance's first catch. Daedae wasn't too happy with being caught at first but Chance spoiled her rotten. Chance often carries her around in her pockets, sneaking Daedae treats often. She tends to be a bit of a brat to the other pokemon but she loves them all like siblings. |

Petname(s) - Meemow
Chance first got Torracat as a Litten when first setting out as a pokemon trainer. Picking out Litten was one of the easiest choices Chance could have ever made. Being introduced to Litten was like looking into a mirror. He has just as much of a laid back personality as Chance and is cool about just about everything for being a fire type pokemon. |

Nickname - Fletch
Chance spotted Fletch as a fletchling, seemingly training by herself. Chance stayed around the route for some time, intrigued, sticking around to watch this determined lil pokemon doing it's best to become stronger, even through it's frustration. Chance wanted that type of determination on her team so she challenged Fletch, after a hard battle, Chance managed to catch her. Promising her to help her on her dream to become stronger. |

Petname(s) - Scraps
Chance caught Scrafty as a Scraggy. This goofy guy was just having trouble keeping up with it's posse of scraggy's and wound up getting caught by Chance. He was a bit insecure at first about it but discovered he was very happy with his new team and trainer. Scrafty now more tougher and determined, doesn't have to worry about keeping up anymore. |
 【Lurantis】
Petname(s) - Sweetheart, Sweety
Chance happened upon a Lurantis defending it's fellow group of Fomantis from Pikipeks and Trumbeaks. The Lurantis became overwhelmed and fell to the bird pokemon. But the Fomantis' came to her defense and fended off the bird pokemon. Chance ran to help the fallen Lurantis after some coaxing with the Formantis. Chance took her to the Pokemon Center, healed her and set her back out. In that time, Lurantis became smitten with Chance for caring for her and after knowing the Fomantis could take care of themselves, she followed after Chance to which Chance took her along as a new team member. Lurantis often prods Chance for attention and loves to be doted on. |
 【Mudsdale 】
Petname(s) – Big Boss
Chance came across his heard but whenever she got near they'd spook off. It took some time to get close, but patience comes easily to Chance. She camped around them, spent her days minding her own business until they got closer. One of the more protective younger Mudsdale challened Chance himself. To which Chance barely won and captured him. He now helps watch over his trainer and new team. |
About
Chance has family in Alola and Unova, but stayed mostly in a big city in Unova for most of her years.
While in Unova before she set out on her journey, she happened to catch an impromptu gym leader and challenger match that happened outside of gym walls. She was inspired by the spur of the moment challenge from the respect and excitement they had in the heat of things. She decided to try it out.
Chance committed to it while going back to Alola. There, she acquired her litten and had her first battle and felt the rush she saw in that gym leader and challenger battle. Seeing it in her litten too and the kinship they created was amazing. So she set out to have more moments like it. No goals, no destination, no idea on what she's gonna do but just going where she pleases.
Notes
- The petnames she uses for her pokemon are occasional, not really a permanent nickname. So she'll call them by their pokemon species too.
- Loves spicy food and fruits the most, especially spicy fruit.
- No real goals in what she is doing as a trainer, just out having fun.
- Loves camping outdoors.
- Mother and father separated but are on excellent terms and both keep in contact with Chance and she them as much as possible.
