Iris is very bubbly and friendly, willing to share a meal with anyone she comes across. She finds wonder in the smallest of things, and is a firm believer in the mysterious and magical. The happy-go-lucky girl can often be found talking to animals and various strangers she meets on the "quests" she finds for herself. Iris is very determined, and can often be a touch impatient once she has decided to do something. Iris is also a truly honest friend that would never even think to lie to anyone. Unfortunately, that sometimes comes back to bite her both on quests and when she is perhaps a bit too honest with her friends. Still, Iris never loses her lightheartedness and her sweet demeanor always wins her friends over again.

Iris loves exploring and going on adventures! She's rarely at home, always off scouting for another mystery. She took up basic cartography a year or so ago to help her remember where she's been before, and enjoys making her own maps with the details she thinks are important. She's sure they will come in handy when she chronicles her adventures in a memoir some years from now.

Iris is likely to explain a simple phenomenon with something absurd and fantastical, even if an ordinary explanation makes far more sense (eg., her door was slightly cracked open so a tiny woodland fairy must have wandered in, instead of her not quite shutting the door when she came in the night before). Iris also enjoys floating upside down, and in the few instances where she is home and not out exploring she can always be found floating upside down as she works.
