Floss is a tall Perinymph with a thickset body and slumped posture. His fur is very short, though much longer around his ears, forehead, tail, arms and crest. The thin layer of fur all over his body feels like that of a fuzzy petal. Floss' eyes are usually droopy, and his expression is often mellow, melancholy or dreamy. In his mouth, he has both fangs and dull teeth. His canines are sharp from disuse. He is bowlegged, as both a human and feral. He is somewhat chubby, especially in his belly. The wings that float behind him are curled and fluffy, with a small string underneath. His eyes are pupiless, but can be depicted with a brown pupil. The pads on his paws are the shape of a 5-petal flower, with 3 lil' toe beans above it. Eyebrows are optional; if shown with eyebrows they are the same color as his facial stripe.
