Creation

Husk is the result of experimentation via Eden through attempts to revive the dead in very similar ways to how Smi and Damien were reanimated. There were 15 previous projects, each resulting in complete failure and at times injury or death to staff. Husk [016] is the most successful iteration so far and as such is considered an accomplishment though not worth the budget put forth to create her.

Dr. Beckett lead the team that worked the floor directly with Husk's remains and reincarnation process. All but two staff members survived the process of which included Dr. Beckett and her tech assistant Nicholus. Both later fell ill and passed from the spectral exposure (shredding their live energy fibers).

Process

Pulling the soul from the deceased body's remains via a shard of entity and ported into a lab grown live body Husk was bonded. The vessel unfortunately could not hold shape and grotesquely reformed into an unidentifiable mass of bone, spines and muscle. 3 months after Husk's creation were spent in dormant silence in the department she was reborn in. With the work of a team of engineers and biologists Husk was fit with a prosthetic mechanical body that allowed her to finally move. Another six months were designated to learning how to operate enough to be assigned tasks.

A total of 3 years were dedicated to study and further experimentation on Husk before budget was cut for the department to work on [017] (currently in progress). Dr. Beckett's home was swept of any information after her passing to be used for the next project and complex then disposed of.
