Like a chipper and invigorated teacher on the first day of school, Ogilvie is always ready and able to share knowledge with the world. He encourages studying, research, education and public service. As the master of all known things, Ogilvie is like a walking encyclopedia - his memory is impeccable and never faulty. He's never condescending and truly enjoys teaching people things, even if they're the same things over and over again. As the protector of facts, Ogilvie hopes to protect the world from fake news, conspiracy and hyperbole by employing as much of his effort as possible to maintaining a strong wall of the truth against all falsehoods. Sometimes overly dogged, and a little frazzled, his heart is nevertheless always in the right place.

The patron god of teachers, educators and librarians, Ogilvie helps points get across and keeps information well-organized and remembered. He helps foster a more studious environment wherever he goes, and those with his favor will have an easier time learning and remembering class materials. Ogilvie stands for liberty of information and believes nothing should be kept secret if it benefits the larger whole. Because of that, he's a big proponent of social media - up until the point it crosses from revealing information to spreading rumors and untruths. Hands-on and a good leader, Ogilvie doesn't mind rolling up his sleeves and doing work that humans should be doing if it means getting the results he wants faster. Some people have spotted him digitizing books and magazine articles in university libraries around the world.

Like his mother Ohare, Ogilvie represents the Energy element. His teacher's pointer doubles as a magic wand, which he uses to create flashy light displays that pack a punch. He's only good at fighting long-range, and really can't punch or kick his way out of a battle situation. Unlike Ohare, who's abilities rely on randomness and unpredictability, Ogilvie is far more predictable and stable, but less powerful as a result.

Ogilvie is almost never seen with his cousin and counterpart, Nanuet, due to Nanuet's general disdain of everything.
