A nine tailed fox demon that many hate and blame for their misfortune. He believes he carries an ill-fate and wouldn't deny it could rub off on others and tries to keep himself emotionally and physically distant with others (despite that he doesn't completely remove himself as he doesn't want to be completely alone.)

After being kicked out of his home. He became a drifter. Eventually deciding to visit his Aunt Sena, who also had nine tails, he arrived at the coastline town where she lived shortly after a tsunami struck. Seeing a foreign fox wading through the water, many felt it was foreboding. The more superstitious of the townspeople even tried to attack him, taking out the fear and frustration from the devastating event out on the fox.

The local deity, the sea goddess Ami, saw the conflict. She was especially soft hearted towards foxes and knew that whatever triggered the tsunami was far outside the reach of her domain, and not this lone fox's fault. Sena was also the head shrine maiden of Ami's shrine, so Ami couldn't simply ignore her nephew. Ami stepped in and openly offered the fox refuge at her shrine to protect him. Kurosa warned the goddess that he may have truly caused it as bad luck followed him, but she still offered him sanctuary. Kurosa accepted and has been living on the shrine grounds for a few months. He knows he should likely leave sooner rather than later, but with no one at the shrine pressuring him to leave he's stuck around and kept his distance from the others.

Recently, a young dragon named Silve showed up at the town and visits the shrine. Silve is the son of an old friend of the goddess who was visiting his mother's relatives who reside in town. Despite receiving many warnings from the townspeople and from Kurosa himself, the half dragon often comes looking for Kurosa.
