VMist was raised by her grandfather after her mother and father disappeared, he was a young man that raised her dad after his wife left after getting pregnant at 22, much like how her mist’s mum got pregnant with mist at 18. Mist’s father obviously did not learn from his dad's mistake and chose to react poorly, so Often Mist had her grandfather mistaken as her dad.

When she turned 20, her grandfather fell very sick, she was at the hospital every day, even when the nurse saying he didn’t have long she begged and prayed he would make it. She made preparations for his funeral, though she was in a very dazed state, going through the motions in the most emotionless zombified state, one person could be in.
