Eider, alongside his older brother Alexy grew up in Lyndil, where they spent their early youth playing in the verdant fields and gazing in wonderment at the vast mountain ranges spread before them. As they got older, thier time spent outside grew much longer, their parents beginning to fall out of love and devolve into a more abusive and toxic relationship. Through it all, the two brothers had each other, Alexy his guiding light through some of the worst fights. Though Alexy had a more positive outlook, and a hope that things would turn out alright, Eider thought otherwise, his once stable and happy family life and it's immediate turn for the worse too much for him to handle. His mental health only declined further when news of an immediate divorce was thrusted upon them during their teenage years, and the split only destroyed Eider further, the harbored resentment for his parents a constant in the back of his plagued mind. His brother however, took a more optimistic approach, coping through the tough experience through making others happy. Secretly, Eider envied his younger brother's ability to push through his trauma- Eider on the other hand kept to himself, content with watching his brother succeed while he destroyed himself in silence.

When the two became old enough to start their own lives, Alexy enrolled into university to major in interior design. His departure from their home country was a hesitant choice on the older brother's behalf- worried that his brother wouldn't be able to take care of himself on his own. Coincidentally, the boys' mother contacted the two of them, informing them that upon visiting the doctor's they discovered that she unfortunately developed a terminal illness. Despite Eider's resentment toward his parents, he ultimately took it upon himself to stay back and take care of her for her remaining last days. Hesitant to leave it all behind, Alexy finally decided to move forward while Eider remained at his mother's bedside, her state worsening each day until she ultimately passed a month later. After hearing of his mother's passing, Alexy took a trip back home, begging his brother to come with him this time. He agreed with no hesitation, and the two of them moved close by to Alexy's university until his graduation.

After graduation, a chance call from the boys' father had them packing their bags and moving to Ferncombe, in hopes of staking claim in the growing location and getting Alexy's business on it's feet. The move was a bit taxing, but Alexy and Eider found themselves a wonderful place to call home, where the two now spend their time when Alexy is not at work. And now, after much loving harassment from his dear brother, Eider now goes to therapy, where he and his therapist, Barrett, try to help heal his past wounds.
