Spearmint is a loud yet quiet person.

He is always thinking, full of random thoughts and musings. Although he appears calm and nonchalent, there's always an impact when he talks. He has various opinions and wonders, along with a tendency to be stubborn and a knack for sass (subconsciously). Though, if you can give him a valid enough reason (doesn't have to make sense), he'll believe you.

Thanks to the love and support from his parents, he is quite self confident. Very caring for others in his own way too. The type to quietly give gifts or do things, without asking for anything in return.

Backstory

Abandoned as a baby turtle, he was found by Nobu and Meilin at the temple steps. They took him in and raised him as their own. Under their care, he slowly grew and also became Nobu's apprentice. He's never once been insecure or anxious about where he came from. Their bond as a family is very strong and real.

Though Nobu has since resigned from his monkship, Spearmint still lives following some aspects of a monk's lifestyle as that was how he was raised.

Future

Spearmint's always had a talent in creating things out of sticks or something. Thanks to his nifty hands, he grew to have a job as a Craftsman. He generally assists in repairs of broken things, be it clothes to tools or so on. From time to time, he'll visit the ports and lend a hand with boats or sorts.

On the side, he also performs songs on his guitar for free. He plays in his house, at his work place, or along his travels. It's more of a hobby than anything.

• Favourite Colour: Green
• Meilin keeps track of his height on the persimmon tree out infront of the temple.
• He tends to hum or sing subconsciously, a habit he got from his mom singing him to sleep as a baby. If pointed out, he'll be confused and decline having done so. He does do it for his mom and girlfriend though, when he finds them tired or asleep.
• The type to not do things when he's told to, but does them when no one's looking.
• Is actually pretty decent in martial arts. He'd only use it in cases of self-defense or emergencies (aka play-fighting with Uncle Shiori).
• He can play the guitar, as well as play music by ear. His preference in music is slow indie like this.
• If he had a face claim, it would be Lee Jihoon/Woozi.

Relationships

Nobu [ Adoptive Father ]

A kind and supportive father, Spearmint finds his endless patience admirable and is always watching to learn from him. Loves him extra for letting him get away with things, like not doing his chores, though when Nobu's not watching, he does them diligently. 10/10 Cooking.

Mei Lin [ Adoptive Mother ]

A loving and supportive mother, Spearmint clings onto her. He'd do anything for her, always asking if she needs help since she's a bit ditzy. Loves to nap with her, especially as a means to get away from doing the chores. 10/10 Cooking, with a unique taste.

Hibi [ Past ]

Shiori [ Uncle ]

His dad's childhood friend. He comes to visit every now and then, doing sparring practice with Spearmint. Spearmint and him are always picking at each other, but he still loves his uncle... sorta. Doesn't understand why he's got a thing for sheeps but respects it.

Illya [ Scary Auntie ]

Dad's childhood friend. A scary auntie... He doesn't know why she keeps asking him to call her big sis when she's not. Sometimes she buries him in the ground, he thinks it's nice - he can play with his bug friends - though the chasing part isn't nice... Runs from her on sight.

Titania [ Nice Auntie ]

Lady at the cafe he visits from time to time. Thinks she's nice, always tries to look for who it is she's talking to when she talks to thin air. Makes very good cookies and very nice tea 10/10

Nina [ Tiny Friend ]

A small ninja friend. He learnt origami from her. They go bug catching together and have paper star throwing competitions. Follows her in calling her dad the Origami Master.

Kenta [ Tsuki and the Weird Guy ]

Weird guy, looks sad. Spearmint pities him. Gets scammed- I mean, buys random stuff from him to ride Kenta's bear companion, Tsuki. The stuff Spearmint buys are usually gifted to Hibi.
