Notes
- Gael had a previous design that made him look a lot older than he is. I decided to dial that back when I made his official image for his profile.
- Unlike his other siblings, Gael is the only one with a spanish specific name.
- I decided to make Gael a chef because I felt that's something that is rarely explored too much when it comes to the Pokemon games and I like the idea of someone who makes food for both Pokemon and humans alike.
- It did take a bit to figure out what I wanted to go for when it comes to Gael as a character.
The Pokemon Chef
About
Your name is Gael Saito, and you're a Pokemon Chef. Well, a Pokemon Chef is too specific of what you do, so you state that you're a regular chef for simplicity's sake. You enjoy making meals for Pokemon and humans alike within your restaurant: Luxury Disarray. You have a twin brother and a younger sister. One of them is the eventual Galar champion (Katsu), and the other is a Pokemon researcher (Akari). You are very fond of your siblings and often try your best to visit them whenever you can now that they ahve moved to Galar. It's a little tricky as you are constantly focusing your attention on running the restaurant with your wife (Samantha). The two of you have been together since High School and have an adorable son named Joey. You feel so blessed to have a wonderful family. You don't really have any dreams or aspirations. Mostly because you already accomplished a good chunk of that within the last few years. For now, all you care about is making sure Luxury Disarray is running while you and your family is being well-taken care of.

Likes
- Cooking. What did you expect? Cooking is the one thing that brings him so much joy in his life.
- Food related Pokemon. He doesn't know what it is about them, but he honestly can't help collecting any he stumble upon.
- His family. He's a very family oriented man and is willing to do whatever he can to make sure they're safe and happy.
- Caps. He's not sure what it is about caps but he absolutely adores collecting them. I mean it's nothing compared to Leon but still.
Dislikes
- Mornings. He is not a morning person and often comaplains when he's forced to get up.
- Stadium battles in the middle of the night. He doesn't even live close to Motostoke's Stadium and he can still hear the music blaring from whatever gym battles taking place.
- Dirty stations. He can't stand seeing the sight of it and is quick to clean them when he sees them.
- Anyone snapping at his employees. Don't. Ever. Do. That.
Personality
Most often mistake Gael as being much older than he is with how mature, wise, and modest he can be. If you ever need someone to talk to about your problems, Gael is often the best option. He always advises those who need it and is known for being very patient. He is a good-heated, caring man that can often be thoughtful with his words and shows affection towards those he sees as his family. You can often rely on him if you have any secrets as he knows how to keep them. He is the type that often worries about the well-being of others regardless of if he knows them or not. If anyone requires help, he always tries to be there for them. To him, this stem from his inability to help his brother when he was dragged to the Distortion World and came back broken. Seeing that inspire him to never want to see anyone deal with the level of pain his brother went through. The male is a family oreinted man (as noted through his interactions with his family). He can become easily flustered by his wife teasing him.

Samantha Saito/Sam Wife
Gael loves his wife. There's something about the female that he can't help but smitten by. Perhaps it's her humor and how caring that she can be. Not only that but she does give off the aura of someone that you can easily befriend. Regardless, Gael feels so lucky to be blessed with the chance to spend the rest of his life with a lovely female.
Joey Saito Son
When Gael found out Sam was pregnant, he was excited. The idea of having a child is something that he was always looking forward to having. There's something about seeing children that brings a little smile to his face. Gael loves Joey and spoils the hell out of the male. He prioritize the happiness of his son over everything else.
Katsu Saito Twin Brother
Gael is one of the few people that gets to see the softer side of Katsu as he is one of the few (other than his sister and parents) that he can trust with his feelings. Gael is always there for his twin whenever the other needs advice on something or just someone to talk to. After all, Katsu was there for him whenever he needed him.
Akari Saito Younger Sister
While Akari can be a bit childish at times, Gael try his best to treat her with a level of respect. After all, she managed to become a Pokemon Researcher at a young age and does have her moments where her maturity shines through. He appreciates Akari dropping by to occasionally watch over Joey for him whenever he's busy.
Coco the Monferno Partner Pokemon/Starter
Coco is Gael's partner in crime and has been by his side for years. While Gael doesn't appreciate Coco stealing berries from the kitchen, Gael appreciates having the Pokemon by his side as he often serves as his second eyes. If he notices anything right, he'll be sure to let Gael know. Whenever he's not in the kitchen, Coco is usually helping out Gael's wife with finding ingredients.
Lemondrop the Alcremie Partner Pokemon
Lemondrop is the first Pokemon that Gael received when he moved to Galar. While she may look a bit strange, Gael doesn't seem bothered by it. Gael enjoys making use of the cream that Lemondrop produce. Of course, he doesn't force her to produce it as he prefers not to misuse the Pokemon. After all, he doesn't see her as a tool. He sees her as a friend.
Peaches the Miltank Partner Pokemon
Peaches is a bit rough around the edges. At least that's what Gael experience with her has been. She's not quite as docile as other Miltank and has a attitude more akin to a Tauros. However, Peaches has stated to trust him more to the point that she is willing to share her milk with him. She's still a work in progress though, and Gael doesn't mind takng his time with her.
Pocky the Rotom Partner Pokemon
While Pocky may be a bit unusual for what they are, Gael doesn't seem too bothered by it. In fact, they like to believe that Pocky is a very unique Pokemon. Whenever any electronic in Gael's restaturant breaks down, Gael often relies on Pocky to possess the object and fix them as soon as possible. It's something that he realized that they are very fond of doing.
Charlotte the Vanilluxe Partner Pokemon
Charlotte wasn't the Pokemont that Gael originally planning on keeping. In fact, he briefly had a dislike for those of Charlotte line due to how often he encountered this specific Pokemon in the Wild Area. However, he developed a bit of a soft spot for the female when she wouldn't stop following him due to not having a place she calls home.
Reese the Appletun Partner Pokemon
Reese was gifted to Gael from his wife. Apparently, Applin (the stage that Sam gave Reese in) are meant to symbolism something relating to romance/love. Whatever the case may be, Gael has been taking good care of Reese as he is never the one that likes wasting a gift his loved one given him and the fact he finds Appletun to be a cute Pokemon.
