Profile

Personality: Intensely loyal and affectionate, but tends to be kind of shy. He is innocent and naive with a generally carefree spirit. Overall he is very kind, friendly and quite the gentleman with chivalrous mannerisms. While he is normally only looking for fun he does know to be serious when it matters. Due to his upbringing from Evi he is a defender of justice, but is also quite merciful much to Evi's dismay at times. Even some of the worst criminals that are found guilty, Caerwyn can't help but sympathize with and try to find some way to forgive them of their crimes. He is often teased and made fun of upon first glance since no one tends to take him seriously because of his small stature and based on how young he looks. However, when it counts, Caerwyn is known to seriously pack a heavy punch... He is very benevolent and peaceful though and prefers nonviolent resolutions. He is very devoted to his causes and has an unconditional love for everyone. Though he is oblivious of what most say about him he is destined for great things as foretold in the prophecies of the Horsemen which has been said to be the day the four worlds will become one. He has subconsciously been preparing for that day under Evi's loving and stern care, having an unknown desire to fulfill some kind of destiny that he doesn't understand...

Notes:

❈ He likes to frequently (almost daily) visit Kashi Pimchan's gardens, loving how kind she is to him while also talking to her brother when he visits to discuss philosophical topics; Nin Kala has a habit of dropping hints of what the future will hold for Caerwyn but he is still to young to catch on to the cryptic manners in which the deity of time chooses to deliver these nuggets of information.

❈ Due to the fact he was raised by Evi he does not harbor romantic feelings for her as many Guardians tend to do so towards their deities. Instead, he has more of a maternal bond with her and only views her as a mother.

❈ Caerwyn has been an orphan since birth. It is unknown where exactly he came from, in fact, he seems to have appeared literally out of nowhere. It was when a small dispute between some of the Mage Houses occurred that his tiny basket he was in had been found. He was delivered to some of the priestesses of Evi's temple and here his small cries could be heard which reached the ears of Evi who took pity upon the orphaned Areques. She was familiar with the four that had a hand in splitting the world of Lato into quarters and out of fear of him becoming like one of those four who had since disappeared she decided to take him in and raise him as a way to prevent him from "going down an evil route and to raise him to follow a just path instead". She bestowed him both his title and name as well as the power and strength befitting of a Guardian.

❈ He was gifted by Evi to usher in the coming of spring. He enjoys this task quite a bit since he gets to help flowers perk up and blossom after their freeze during winter when Rhea comes to visit. He enjoys getting to see the beauty of spring and the colourful flowers it brings. He has an affinity with light (often associated with sunlight) and the cosmos burn brightly within him.

The "stars" around him are actually arrows he conjures from light or cosmic energies that he can use with his bow. He is the Horseman associated with Love (The Gold Rider) and polar opposite to the other Horsemen, sworn enemy of the rest to include his fathers who birthed him unknowingly in the fabrics of space. It is prophesied that he will hunt the other Horsemen and become the executioner of the others. He is considered the most powerful of them all because of these beliefs. He has an affinity for Light and Cosmic energy (his arrows do radiant damage; opposite to the necrotic damage of Faust's scythe -- Of the Horsemen they are the most evenly matched). None of the other Horsemen are aware of his existence yet, but none of them exactly remember their past lives either... Melu'kassat is the closest to remembering but only because he has a strange yearning and connection to Himmel who was once apart of his soul as the Horseman of Pestilence/Conquest (The White Rider) that was split due to a desire not to be reincarnated during The Disconnection. Himmel was reincarnated at a later time than Melu'kassat but he still ended up being reincarnated around the same time as Melchior. Himmel's reincarnation was post-phoned until around the same time Helvet was reborn. Faust is the only Horseman to have escaped the reincarnation because he could not die but he lost most of his memories during The Disconnection. Though he has flashbacks on occasion, the memories feel so far away due to the passage of time making it seem more like the memories of a stranger than his own especially due to how broken up they seem to be...
