How Dragonborns were made is something of a mystery. At least when it comes to the first ones that serve as the first ancestors of the species. Some claim that dragonborns were crafted from beings from another realm who were transformed into draconic beings after being exposed to the energies of a place known as Spellplague while others argued that they were experiments created by the followers of Tiamat. No one truly knows which is true. However, what we do know is there was a time that dragonborns were slaves to dragons before eventually rebelling to gain their independence. It has been centuries, and dragonborn walk amongst the elves and humans that make their homes in these lands. One of those dragonborn is Hixon Steelheart.

Shaped by the draconic gods his species name is derived from, Hixon is no servant to dragons. In fact, he walks through the world with no fear in his face while depicting himself as what most would see as a wild dragon. With scarlet scales and prideful attide, Hixon comes with a goal. You see he craves a desire to see more of the world and grow stronger. He does not care if he becomes a hero or a villian. In fact, all he cares about is having a bit of fun. However, there is one troubling thing and that's the fact he carries around a blade known as "Cataclysm Eclipse". This cursed blade is one that forged with the blood of the Draconic God (Tiamat) and something that Hixon isn't aware can cause some serous side effects to his body everytime he taps into its power.

Height:
6'5 ft/195.58 cm
Weight:
253 lbs/114.8 kg

Appearance:

As Hixon species would suggest, Hixon resembles that of a humanoid dragon. With a large muscular body to match his impressively tall size and weight, Hixon is a not a man that should be taken lightly with his physical prowess. His body is completely covered in a crimson scaly hide with large chunks of his side of his body being purple and the upper portion of his snout (and his lower jaw and neck) carrying a cream coloration. A thicker concentration of dark brown scales can be seen on the following areas: his forearms, lower legs, feet, shoulders, and knees. His feet ends with three strong talon-like claws with a fourth claw in the back, while his hands were similar with three claws with a thumb replacing the rear claw. Each claw are sharp and gray in color. His head is composed of a blunt snout, a strong brows, reptilian frills on the cheeks, and two horn-like structures protruding from his forehead towards the back of his head. Flowing behind him a long crimson tail with a purple tip and golden spikes that occasionally pop out at the end of it. His left eye is yellow while his right eye is red.

Notes:
  • The outfit that Hixon is seen on the right is the outfit that he starts off with. You can see other additional outfits he receive in the Reference Tab on the side.
  • Hixon is capable of unlocking more of his draconic potential and gain additional parts of dragon such as wings. However, it is taking a while for him to master it.
  • This is more or less mentioned in the Reference tab, but this form is the fom that Hixon takes when he's overwhelmed by the power of his sword.
    • When he's knocked out while in this form or manage to snap out of the control of the form, his scales stay purple for a day or so.
  • Occasionally he is seen wearing a red scarf around his neck. That scarf was given to him by his brother.
  • Hixon rarely cleans his clothes to the point that he often has to be forced to do so.
    • Honestly in general, Hixon isn't known for very clean in general.

"A warrior accepts the challenges of life in true humility. No matter what his destiny may be, it can never be a cause for discontent, but a living challenge which it is his privilege to surmount." -Theun Mares

When you first meet Hixon, it's pretty reasonable to assume you first experience with him may not be the most pleasant. The Dragonborn is extremely confident in his abilities and often views himself as being invincible. His opinion of others often only go as far as his judgement of their strength, and he is quite rude towards anyone he deems weak. Influenced by his own desire for power, he is very arrogant and quite apathetic towards anyone he deems weak. He likes to gloat about his strength to the point the moment you manage to defeat him, it very much catches him off guard. This leads to the point that Hixon craves being the center of attention. Whenever the focus isn't on him, he always tries to find some way to make everyone pay attention. Some of those things can be destructive. This often means that those who show him a little bit of kindness or even care for him are often the ones he cling towards.

However, other than his pride and stubborness, Hixon is often regarded as being overall very immature. He is the type of person that would fart in the middle of meeting and laugh loudly as a result. Combined wth his troublemaking behavior, Hixon is described as hotheaded, impetuous, and confrontational young man that loves to get into fights quite often. He has no respect for the authority and can often be very goofy at times. While he has no problem working with others, he likes to take charge as a means to assert his dominance. This is the guy that thinks with his fists.

Cataclysm Eclipse

This Greatsword is one that once belonged to [REDACTED] and was said to be forged through by the Blacksmith that worked under them. This Blacksmith made this weapon as a means for [REDACTED] to suffer through the use of it. The Eclipse is one that is said to be infused with the blood of Tiamat. This tainted blood would send [REDACTED] into a almost berserker rage with the contiued use of it. This led to [EVENT REDACTED] with Eclipse being locked away until decades later when Hixon stumbled upon it. Eclipse works much like a Berserker Axe, where Hixon refuses to part with the weapon and, as mentioned, can send him to a Berserker Rage. However, this Rage is noted to draw out Hixon's draconic blood due to Tiamat blood being infused into the blade.

Enhanced Condition

Being a Dragonborn, Hixon possess all their capabilities, attributes and aspects at an enhanced level when compared to humans. His physical and magical durability is extremely high, allowing him to take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects. He can endure physical stresses beyond the capabilities of the greatest humans. However, what makes him stand out are his senses and strength. He possess a level of strength beyond that of the peak members of their species. At base level, he can lift heavy objects such as cars, large boulders, vans, and most other objects that are bigger than them in size. Senses wise, his sense of smell and taste is decently high.

Elemnental Manipulation (Fire)

With his Draconic heritage taking on his biological mother side, it should be noted that Hixon carries a affinity for fire. Hixon can create, shape, control, generate and manipulate every form/type of fire. However, as far as fire goes, he can't really manipulate fire all too well outside of his breath and making himself warm. Interesting enough, he is not as experienced when it comes to the use of it due to the level of concentration needed for it. Combined with the fact he's not the best at magic, it's no surprise that he's terrible at fire magic.

Archetype:Barbarian

As a Barbarian, Hixon leans really hard into his class. He is capable of taking heavy damage and use the heaviest weaponry available. Due to his defenses, he takes the world of a taknk. What stands out is his presence of the berserker state, a mindless rage that overtakes him. This is a similar one he can take to when he overused his sord. This frenzy is Hixon's greatest strength and greatest weakness. Why? Well, not only numbing their body to pain and dramatically increasing strength but also blinding their own sense of judgment. In other words, he finds it harder to identify a friend from a foe.

The Story of a Adventurer

From a forest, a young Dragonborn stumbles through the forest with a egg clutched in its claws. The place they called home has became torn apart from a group known as the "The Order". With his father killed in front of him and his mother buying him time, the Dragonborn had ran as far as his legs could take him. From behind it, hounds twisted in amalgamations due to the presense of the blood moon in the sky come dashing after him. Even with fear in his eyes, nothing stopped the Dragonborn from reaching a destination far from the place he once called a home that was raided by the Order of the Dusk. As he ran, the young boy would eventually find himself trapped in a cave with the hounds blocking his only exit. He closed his eyes, expecting a swift death. However, that never came. In fact, what came was the sound of howls and yelps. Upon hearing these sounds, the Dragonborn opens his eyes and sees a dwarf in front of him with a blade in hand. The dwarf introduces himself as Nifan and takes the boy in as his adopted son after talking to his partner (a Kitsune named Hiro).

The Dragonborn was Hidaar, and the egg he held was Hixon (his younger brother).

Hixon never got to learn what happened to his biological parents as Hidaar refused to bring it up. As such, he lived his entire life believing that Nifan and Hiro were his biological ones despite the species difference. The family of four spent their life in the farm, carrying little about what the city life have to offer. For years, Nifan and Hiro taught them what they means to survive in the world. They listened...well Hixon not so much. All he focused on is hunting and taming animals. Eventually, Hidaar (Hixon's brother) would leave the farm to find his purpose in life as he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life on the farm. Hixon would follow afterwards worried about his brother curious to know what the world has to offer.

Please note this backstory is a work in progress as his story will be growing throughout a private roleplay.
